Sound Transit 9600-9621 is wheelchair accessible.

Sound Transit 9600-9621 are 2004 New Flyer Industries DE60LF buses acquired in 2004. All models are 60 feet in length with seating for 58 individuals. These buses are used for express services and are equipped with bike racks.

These are the first DE60LFs delivered for use by Sound Transit, originally tested with King County Metro Transit. This series was a piggyback order with Metro on their DE60LF order. They were ordered to replace 20 Breda ADPB 350 DuoBuses, which were leased from King County for use on Route 550. Each bus in the series had a cost of around $729,928 2004 USD.

These buses are planned for retirement in 2020, they are to be replaced with 60-foot articulated hybrid diesel buses. [1] [2]

All buses in this series are stored at the King County Metro Transit East Base.
