Everett Transit is the public transit authority of Everett, Washington, the only city in Snohomish County not to belong to Community Transit. As of 2017, Everett Transit operated 41 buses within Everett on 11 routes. Its annual ridership in 2007 was 2.1 million.

History

Everett Transit became a department of the City of Everett in 1969. The previous operator was Everett Bus System from 1961 until 1969.

  • Originally only 1 unit was delivered with a wheelchair lift.
  • Several units were retrofitted with wheelchair lifts and Allison transmissions circa 1992-1993.
  • Retired circa 2002.
  • 2409, 2410 & 2412 were bought by Northwest Bus Sales in August 2002.[3][4]
    • 2409 & 2410 may have had Allison transmissions. 2412 retained its ZF transmission.
    • They were sold to Journey Lines and became 23xx, 23xx & 2373.
    • 2373 was eventually sold back to Northwest Bus Sales and was for sale in October 2010.[5][6]
