578 Puyallup/Seattle is an express bus route operated by Sound Transit in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. This route is operated by Pierce Transit under contract[1].

Route Details

This north-south express bus route runs between Downtown Seattle and Puyallup via Federal Way, Sumner and Auburn. Bi-directional service is available half-hourly. This is primarily an off-peak service route; it is meant to serve Sounder stations when there is no Sounder service.

The route shares a portion of its service with Sounder Rail South commuter train corridor allowing for more off-peak service for Sounder passengers.
