-St. Denis' 14-161 on the 104. I guess this must be the summer of displaced buses or something...

-Legendre's 24-272 on the 161. Rode it.

-22-368 on the 161.

-18-023 on the 165.

-15-027 on the 165. Its sister buses, 025 and 026 were on the 165 and 535 last week.

-26-031 and 033 on the 161.

-24-254 on the 160.

-24-293 out of service on Van Horne.

-Legendre's 15-107 also out of service on Van Horne.

-26-040 on the 535.

-26-038 on the 80. Rode it.

-Mont-Royal's 12-065 on the 535.

-17-048 on the 97. Rode it. It still has the old STCUM logo above the front door.

-17-109 on the 11. Rode it.

-22-370 out of service on Parc Avenue. Its disiplay was showing random lines instead of Desole... Hors Service for some reason...

-LaSalle's 17-172 on the 97. That bus is sure a long way from its home...

-17-175 on the 11.

-Legendre's 15-003 on the 165.

-15-017 on the 165. Rode it to Metro Guy-Concordia.

-22-421 laying over at Metro McGill.

-St. Laurent's 13-078 on the 61. Rode it to Metro Square-Victoria. I have a feeling that 13-078 might be an ex-St. Denis bus, as I used to see it on the 161 quite a bit a few years ago, and they have quite a few 13-07Xs.

-24-214 on the 92.

-17-037 on the 115. Rode it.

-16-114 on the 17. Rode it to Metro Du College.

-14-181 on the 460.

-21-274 on the 214 at Metro Du College.

-13-024 on the 460 at Metro Du College.

-12-011 laying over at Metro Du College. It later morphed into a 202.

-23-219 on the 117 at Metro Du College.

-At least 40% of CT St. Laurent's buses were at Metro Cote-Vertu. I don't remember them all, but some of the highlights included 12-002 on the 174, 12-003 on the 268, 12-017 on the 64, 13-001 on the 70, 13-018 on the 470, 13-079 on the 213, 14-031 on the 470, 17-061, which still has its STM logos intact on the 225, 14-129 laying over, 14-150 on the 215, 14-151 laying over, and 22-274 on the 167. Yes, you read that correctly. 22-274 was on the 167 at Metro Cote-Vertu for some bizarre reason.

-22-275 on the 17. Rode it.

-13-040 on the 17.

-St. Laurent's 22-268 on the 161 once again.

-24-262 on the 161. Rode it.

-Legendre's 17-011 on the 161. I've seen this bus doing numerous St. Denis routes over the past month or so, like the 165, the 535, and now the 161.

-22-415 on the 162.

And there you have it.

-St. Denis' 14-161 on the 104. I guess this must be the summer of displaced buses or something...

No, that bus is definately LaSalle's since it's been there for ages. But it WAS a St. Denis bus.

-St. Laurent's 13-078 on the 61. Rode it to Metro Square-Victoria. I have a feeling that 13-078 might be an ex-St. Denis bus, as I used to see it on the 161 quite a bit a few years ago, and they have quite a few 13-07Xs.

Yes you're correct. St. Denis also has 13-069 to 13-076. St. Laurent's 13-077 and 13-079 were also at SD before.

--

15-099 was doing the 460 this morning with the raised Priorite sign in the back.

Recently repainted 12-099 was doing the 460X this morning at DuCollege Metro with no rear Priorite sign.

12-077 was parked at DuCollege Metro this morning either going to do the 175, 202, 72 or maybe a 460X short turn.

-St. Laurent's 22-267 on the 161 this morning. Rode it. This bus and 22-268 must have been recently transferred to St. Denis, because they're both on the 161 every day now.

-23-239 on the 80. Rode it.

-15-031 on the 97. Rode it.

-17-010 on the 97.

-26-024 on the 185. Where the heck are its side fleet numbers :P ?

-14-171 on the 505 at Metro Pie-IX.

-14-046 on the 139.

-13-032, 037, and 039 laying over on Pierre de Coubertin. 13-037 is the official Leet (1337) bus :D . 13-032 became a 125X at Metro Viau, while the other two morphed into 505s. 13-037 appears to have a tinted rear window.

-15-004 laying over near Metro Pie-IX.

-18-006 on the 125X at Metro Viau.

-17-152 on the 132 at Metro Viau.

-26-077 laying over at Metro Viau. It later morphed into a 132, I think.

-22-267 on the 161 on the way home as well.

-23-232 - Palindromic action on the 161.

-17-161 - Smartassness on the 161.

And there you have it.

Finally went onto the STL network today, I think for the first time for 2008... heh heh :D

All I have to say is beware of the daytime network!!! :D Unless you are a LFS luver :P there are very few Classics running out midday. And forget about weekends, it's probably like the RTC, you'd be lucky to find a high floor. :P

Mr Keller-Graham and I were stuck taking 0705 (903), at Ste Dorothée he took the train and I took 0802 (26) and 0006 (20) back to Cartier... all on one ticket yalalala! I only saw a handful of 6400s and 6500s. Maybe the older stuff comes for rush hour but I have a feeling that they've been parked for the summer, that or they might be retired.

Otherwise... there are no buses on the Guenette side of Garage St Laurent except for 28-010, 013, and 016 which look brand new but they all have their license plates so I don't know why St Laurent hasn't whipped them out yet. There might be some new LFS on the Cousens side of the Garage too.

12-007 still sports STCUM logos except at the back, :P

So that means 59-016 went into service today, cause that is where it was parked yesterday evening when I drove by.

-22-263 on the 161. Rode it. I think it's now safe to say that St. Laurent's 22-263 - 22-269 are all with St. Denis now. They can bee seen on the 161, the 165, or the 535 almost every day.

-17-163 on the 161.

-13-070 on the 535 once again.

-22-267 on the 80. See what I mean?

-22-269 on the 535.

-26-057 on the 129.

-15-120 on the 97. Rode it.

6 hours later...

-15-035 on the 535. Rode it.

-14-160 out of service on Park Ave.

-15-017 on the 535.

-15-072 on the 935 with a raised Priotrite shield in the back. As usual, the 935 was empty. Does anyone ride this bus? Even the 515 sometimes gets more passengers.

-22-264 on the 535.

-15-024 on the 535.

-21-228 laying over on the 93 at Metro Parc.

-15-026 on the 535 once again.

-15-070 on the 535. Lots of 15s on this route today...

-14-117 on the 535. It has its rear fleet number on the left side instead of the right side.

-Legendre's 22-391 on the 535.

-23-208 on the 92. Rode it.

And there you have it.

I think its bus swap season... at St-Laurent anyway. I'm seeing and driving a lot less 22-000 and more 16-000 and 17-000 :) We've also received some 26-000 to compensate.

Also not all buses at Stinson are scrap! They were moved there from St-Laurent to make room in the garage this summer since they are redoing the asphalt around the garage. They are resting there temporarily and many will return to work in the fall.

Sounds like they are trying to get the most mileage out of them before then send them to scrapper.

Good news about the Stinson buses, although we can't be sure which ones will return, at least that offers up a little more hope.

-25-242 on the 138.

-18-080 on the 161. Got on it.

-24-216 on the 179 at Metro Acadie. That bus likes to stalk me for some unexplainable reason.

-17-093, 117 and 175 on the 67 at Metro St. Michel. Looks like this is a CT Mont-Royal route.

-18-057 on the 67 at Metro St. Michel.

-25-210 on the 67 at Metro St. Michel.

-26-027 on the 141 at Metro St. Michel.

-St. Denis' 13-080 on the 67 at Metro St. Michel.

-21-233 laying over on the 95 at Metro Jean-Talon.

-24-269 laying over on the 99 at Metro Jean-Talon.

-12-092 on the 93 at Metro Jean-Talon.

-14-102 laying over on the 95 at Metro Jean-Talon.

-22-205 on the 92 at Metro Jean-Talon. Rode it. The rear display appears to be stuck in seizure mode, as it was flickering rapidly. Someone from here posted a video of it on YouTube a while back. Oddly enough, when that video was posted, the bus was on the 92 as well.

-12-007 on the 179. Gotta love those old STCUM logos. I wonder why they were never changed.

-23-206 on the 92.

-Legendre's 17-012 on the 535 at Metro Parc.

-21-254 on the 16.

-22-245 on the 92.

-18-015 on the 535 at CDN & Jean-Talon.

-28-018 on the 115 for the second day in a row. Rode it. An interesting thing happened while I was waiting for and riding the 115, and you can read about it here: http://www.cptdb.ca/index.php?showtopic=48...mp;#entry184291

And there you have it.

Rode 14-117 on the 535 this morning.

22-268 on the 161, I got stuck with 17-084 or something like that.

935s deadheading to Parc Station (or Garage St-Denis) this morning were 22-355, 18-023, 15-076, and 13-070. I think. The buses passed by way too fast.

I tried to find some STL Classics at rush hour at Cartier Bus Terminal. The bottom line is don't waste your time guys. <_< I think the STL has parked their MCIs for the summer. I admit that because I didn't see any doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't out, but the STL does have a lot of LFS including their 2008 batch, and they don't need a lot of service in the summer. So unless you are out to get some LFS pics, you might want to consider getting pics of a bus company that will put out their Classics much more often.

These are my results. I'll tell you what I saw. Route number is insignificant as there is so much interlining in Laval that routes are just not worth mentioning

24-209 blue lights on the 69. novalfs26001, did you ever drive the blue lights?

28-019 on the 171. I got stuck with 18-071. I guess I'm not lucky. 17-100 was also on the line. 12-099 was deadheading to Legendre by 6:40 pm.

28-027 on the 177. I got stuck with 16-037 on the 215. I guess I'm really not that lucky.

16-150 on the 64.

I really don't like construction holidays for busfanning...

As for the blue lights, only once but unfortunately I was finishing with it at 8pm therefore could not test in night conditions

You are just as unlucky as I am with the 16-000 and 17-000s. I seem to be getting a lot of them lately <_<

-17-071 on the 161. Rode it. Buses with palindromic fleet numbers can often be found on the 161. Other examples include 18-081 and 23-232.

-24-256 deadheading as a 55 on Van Horne just past Decarie.

-24-293 on the 80. Rode it.

-15-125 on the 97. Rode it.

3 hours later...

-16-070 on the 55.

-18-019 on the 11. Rode it.

-25-235 on the 14.

-LaSalle's 17-070 on the 97. Rode it to Metro Pie-IX. Front fleet number reads 17-7. Second time I've seen this bus on a Mont-Royal route.

-18-096 on the 44 at Metro Radisson.

-GORTC 29217 on GORTC route 20 at Metro Radisson. It's a 2008 LFS with the new headlight arrangement. Oddly enough, the rear lights look like they came from a 2001 LFS.

-GORTC minibus 29311 (I think that's what it was) on GORTC route 10. Any reason why this system's buses all have fleet numbers in the 29XXX series? And why are they using minibuses on certain routes as opposed to 40-footers?

-18-048 and 090 laying over at Metro Honore-Beaugrand.

-21-222 laying over at Metro Honore-Beaugrand. It later morphed into a 189.

-27-514 on the 141 at Metro Honore-Beaugrand. Now there's a bus that belongs in Montreal  .

-22-359 on the 18 at Metro Honore-Beaugrand. Got on it. Its wheelchair ramp is working well, as a passenger in a wheelchair got on.

-14-035 and 160 on the 18.

-12-031 on the 139.

-24-297 on the 18.

-22-283 on the 18.

-26-033 on the 18.

-13-074 on the 160 at Metro Beaubien.

-13-076 laying over at Metro Rosemont.

-17-068 on the 197 at Metro Rosemont.

-23-235 laying over on the 161 at Metro Rosemont.

-24-292 on the 161 at Metro Rosemont. Got on it.

-13-069 on the 161. Someone drew smiley faces in the holes of the 0 and the 9 in the front fleet number  .

-17-164 on the 161. Still has an STCUM logo above the front door.

-12-063 on the 162 at Cavendish Mall. For some reason, it has two fleet numbers on the front; one on the right side in a large font, and one in the center in a condensed font. I assume that the smaller one was covered up by either a Balios circle or a 505 arrow at one point, even though this bus is from CT LaSalle.

-15-083 on the 162. Rear fleet number reads 15083.

And there you have it.

Legendre's 14-047 was doing the 99 this evening.

Anjou's 13-051 was doing the 139 even tonight.

15-125 was doing the 97 this evening.

The original J'arrive trio 79-671/78-086/79-672 was on the yellow line all night. 672 still remains original!

St. Denis's 13-075 was doing the 167 tonight.

Legendre's 22-398 was doing the last 169 of the evening.

Anjou's 16-170 was doing the 167 tonight.

12-052 was doing the 139X short turn at Pie-IX Metro tonight with a driver blasting Pink Floyd music. Loved it.

-GORTC 29217 on GORTC route 20 at Metro Radisson. It's a 2008 LFS with the new headlight arrangement. Oddly enough, the rear lights look like they came from a 2001 LFS.

All of Gaudreault's LFSs (RTC Assomption and MRC Les Moulins) have those rear lights. And they have '05s, '07s and now, '08s.

-GORTC minibus 29311 (I think that's what it was) on GORTC route 10. Any reason why this system's buses all have fleet numbers in the 29XXX series?

I would tend to think that back in the '90s, the Classics were numbered 9XXX (9001) and later on in this century, they added the "2" (29001) in front and they continued numbering their buses like this.

And why are they using minibuses on certain routes as opposed to 40-footers?

Probably dur to ridership on some routes like the 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanations, gmnewlook.

One more sighting for the 26th (acutually, it was more like the early morning of the 27th, but whatever)- 26-039 was doing the 370 at around 2:15 AM.
