ESU 2 was at the Honda Indy Toronto all 3 days; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was parked outside the Indycar Paddock on Gasoline Alley the whole time.

Here's a pic I took back in 2005 of the Metro Police Orion I. Caught me by surprise that day so exposure's a bit funny. It went on public auction, I believe, the next year. A friend has a pic of it at the auction.

Dusting off an old topic with an update for the list...

I was going through some notes, and found that the first Toronto Police fishbowl (AUX02) which I previously thought was a TDH5303, is in fact a T6H5305... ex-7370. What fooled me was the lack of EIP on the rear of the bus.

I have no idea what my source was for this information, although I suspect it would probably have been back issues of TTS's Transfer Points newsletters.

I was going through some notes, and found that the first Toronto Police fishbowl (AUX02) which I previously thought was a TDH5303, is in fact a T6H5305... ex-7370. What fooled me was the lack of EIP on the rear of the bus.

EIP didn't become standard equipment on Fishbowls until late 1971, though the 1972 5305s ordered by Quebec City had the two glass panels on either side of the main rear window as well. YRT 910 (ex-TTC 7330) was a 1969 Fishbowl without EIP.

Judging by the taillights and marker lights on AUX02, I would have guessed 1968-1969 T6H-5305 if I had no other information to reference.

Spotted this all white MCI MC9 headed down Yonge a few days ago. No markings whatsoever, but the older plates tell me whoever owns it has owned it for a while.

I'm thinking it's the white unmarked MC9 I see parked behind the Toronto Police Services building in Liberty Village, probably a prisoner transport. The white dome on the roof matches.

Spotted a York Region Police coach (A26?) going up Bayview Avenue this afternoon.

Toronto Police also had previous GMs, a PD4104 and a TDH5303.

I have the 1988 Orion 40 Comm 1 (retired) it has 20,000 kms on it now. I am planning to do an extensive refit into a boondocker tiny home. Runs like a clock and road legal as of last fall.

Giant tanks, four season capable. If I live that long!
