You should be telling that to Ryan here. I do not have much respect for your posts as you put up strong statement with no real info. Untill you come to Ottawa and see how stuff has improved, I ain't bothering putting up strong statements because when I do they get deleted. So I find no point in that. Plus I've given up on trying to get you to see the point. You are hopeless man. Congrats on making another pointless post.

I'll go with the 70xx-71xx even though I don't know what they are. LRT or Subway?
-
Sounds like you don't like BRT, well than shouldn't you change your name to RYANLRT? Which I bet you getting that "new system" would be cheaper than converting all this to LRT as we already got the roads and the infrastructure where as LRT would rip up the pavement of the Transitway which would cost money than lay down new tracks which again costs money and than buy new vehicles which again costs money and put up electric wires which dare I say it, costs money. So it would most likely be cheaper to go with the type of system they have there in Brazil. BTW how old are you anyway? 13? You sure are typing like a 13 year old.

Sounds like this movie. Go to 6:50 and watch it from there. Sounds just like the situation Ottawa is currently in and how they resolved it.

Plus we won't be sued as much as the Government caused the project not to go ahead if it is canceled. Which is not the citys fault. They should sue Bob Chiarelli anyway for signing a pentality filled Contract. Sue Bob for how ever much the law suit costs are. He signed it anyway. He shound be the one that gets sued.

I was planning to move away from Ottawa anyway if this LRT went ahead. I don't want this **** in my back yard.
-
Yes it is that one. Yay 4 people!!! (5 including me)
-
I just read on the news ticker on Canada AM that the Provincal and Federal Government pulled funding from the LRT and now the Mayor is ready to "derail" the LRT Project. I'm going to try to find a online news article.

Funny as this comes at a time when OC also plans to retire our LFS. Wait was I not susposted to say that? Well anyway yeah there getting retired before our fishies and we know that because OC has no plans to put GPS in the LFSs while they plan to put GPS in the Fishies. We all know that our fishies are going to go soon. So HSR is getting rid of there C40LFs eh? So does this mark the start of the end of CNG in HSR?

Ryan's TTC Photos / D.Y. Transit Express
M. Wright replied to R. Flores's topic in WEB PAGES & SOCIAL MEDIA
Woah the 30 ft VII has a rear door? Well I guess that means MT can buy them as "someone" keeps saying they need to get a minibus with a rear door. -
I go through there everyday (because I transfer from the 6 to the 1 or the 7 everyday going southbound). I will check it out.
-
Yeah and the NCC is the reason we have the Greenbelt which was preventing the city from growing out untill people starting living on the otherside of the Greenbelt. NCC=National Complaint Commission
-
So that's two people who have seen it. (3 people including me) Okay I guess it does play out of Ottawa.
-
Another major change is the windows. I showed this to someone and they kept complaining about the windows. But hey atlest the Orion IIIs were fun to drive (according to senior drivers) and the only problem I can think of them having was the rusting problem.
-
And I see you did. Well yep Ottawas Paramedic LFS had a wide rear door. See your thread as Kevin L posted pictures. Here I'll create a hot link for those who are lazy to go and check it out. Credit goes to Kevin L But on the other note about this bus, I saw it one day while walking to catch my usual 4. For a second I thought it was the 4 untill I saw it wasn't in the OC Livery.
-
That was my post in the Translink LFS thread right?
-
Spotted 7926 yesterday at Hurdman. It was terminating at Hurdman so didn't get a chance to ride it. The light on the front designation sign was burnt out and it seemed like the rear door got hit by a car while open. So did 7926 get into a minor sideswipe?
-
Oh and martin, in response to your email to me, sure a LRT may not break down but what if a D60LF breaks down on the LRT tracks? Buses can go around the broken down D60LF but the LRT can't. That will delay only the LRT but the buses won't be delayed at all. And our D60LFs are known to break down very frequently.
-
All I can say is the front is fugly... very fugly... I'll take the 2nd prototype over this prototype anyday... Heck I think I'll perfer a crowded '95 LFS over this too... (I think LFSs were around in 95, if not than a '96 LFS)

Washington DC Transit station roof is too low for buses!
M. Wright replied to 2VivaBlue91's topic in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
They said that in the news article and they said it would be just as expensive as raising the roof. They could solve this by making it a No-CNG/Hybrid Station just like TTC has. Just out of ceriousity has TTC taken down those No CNG signs at the stations yet? As they have "NO CNGs" now... -
No problem! I see why it happened because the O key is right beside the I key on the keyboard. So it could of happened to anyone. It happens to me all the time.
-
TYPO ALERT!!! Should insode be inside? It's on the last page of the 1993 Classic section.
-
Which I am unconvinced by a person who lives in Another City. (This is going to Ryan not you MCI) Yeah NCC is the reason can't put Trolley Buses or Streetcars on Wellington with their "No Overhead near the War Momorial Policy". Again Ryan, DO MORE RESEARCH.
-
Well the engine is in the same place like the Orion VIs so I would think yes.
