No access to these.

I'm curious about how a Kipling South express would work.

That being said, they all seem to be "express" in the afternoon. Last Monday I made the mistake of waiting for a northbound 44 at Horner Ave. Three buses passed me by, "full" of schoolkids, before I gave up and returned to the 110. I say "full" because of course there was no one standing in the back half of the Flyer LFs/Orion VIIs. If the driver had let me on, I would have made my way back there.

Lol I've decided to stick to using paint for my maps.

I don't know if there should be another stop at Bayview or simply move the Laird stop there. Bayview has the addition of cross-traffic from the 11 BAYVIEW.

Yeah, I think Bayview would be a good addition. I was also considering Brentcliffe over Laird. Simply because I do notice a lot of westbound to southbound traffic in the AM, and vise-versa in the evening.

Oshawa Right of Way:

Would see Centre Street and Bond Street converted into a right of way, strictly for buses, taxis, bicycles, delivery vehicles and emergency vehicles. I would like to see what response this would get from transit riders, drivers and business owners in Oshawa.

A similar set up in Tampa seems to be very efficient. Could something like this work in Oshawa?

Also, I know I used 8-car trains. But the cars in Locomotion are smaller in length than the real life TTC cars. Therefore, for it to scale properly, I used 8-car trains.

I only wish the system could handle 8-car train sets for real.

Lol I've decided to stick to using paint for my maps.

The Davenport will probably be affected by whatever route restructuring ensues from the opening of the Eglinton Line. If you're looking to through-route or interline some routes I'd run the route up Keele rather than Weston to eliminate the jog in the route and cut down on all of the turns required.

5 AVENUE RD. could become a reality once the Gardiner off-ramps come down. Why not use the current loop at George Brown that both the 6 BAY and 75 SHERBOURNE use? If you're looking for continuous route along Queens Quay East you could go up to Parliament (perhaps the Distllery?) or Cherry (the PanAm Village/Canary District after the Games?) They could probably look at this proposal since they'll probably need to renumber the route even if they don't officially adopt the heavy rail route numbering scheme. Perhaps just extend the 61 with the AVENUE RD. name all the way down to the Lake?

8 BROADVIEW probably looks good on paper as a means of providing continuous coverage along O'Connor. The current setup probably stems from people wanting to get to the subway as soon as possible from the further east segments. I think they've asked the community whether or not they wanted such a continuous service or keep the status quo.

56 LEASIDE is another route subject to Eglinton Line. There was a proposal to combine it with the 51 LESLIE with the Line's opening.

59 MAPLE LEAF running up to Major Mack will probably be taken over by YRT with the opening of the Spadina subway extension. They're looking at what restructuring would look like. If service north of Steeles is cut back, perhaps extending the 89 WESTON to Steeles from Albion/Wilson to take over for the 165 WESTON NORTH. You could theoretically break the Weston route at the Eglinton Line's Mt. Dennis station.

123 SHORNCLIFFE would probably raise the ire of residents along Burnhamthorpe who already complain about the Mississauga Transit buses plying their street. If service was really warranted in that neighbourhood, they could run the 46 MARTIN GROVE via Bloor, Shaver, and Burnhamthorpe to Martin Grove. You may need a branch of any of the neighbouring routes (45, 46, 48) to cover the Lloyd Manor and Princess Margaret section.

135 GERRARD if you're looking to combine routes in the area combining it with the 113 DANFORTH would mean a service increase. If you want to combine routes with similar service levels, you could use the 20 CLIFFSIDE.

That does have the advantage of both TTC routes to Long Branch loop going to the same subway station. But I agree that there's likely little need for service on Burnhamthorpe and Shaver.

I wouldn't mind not being put through Sherway Gardens, but there's no way the TTC would do that. The 123A branch only goes to Sherway, after all, and it makes up half the peak period service.

I'm not impressed with Metrolinx's napkin drawings of arrows and criss cross lines without any indication of what they mean. For $50 billion they could be at least as informative as Transit City about where stops are, and what streets BRTs divert to.

My first time using Google maps create feature (without upgrades) but this is what I feel the bare minimum York Region needs, as despite Metrolinx claiming they have a GTHA solution, they seem to think Hwy 7 is all York Region needs. I disagree.

If I do upgrade map features, I would create a Warden n-s route, whether it is BRT,LRT or subway is another matter, the region needs more n-s connections.

I've ignored the existing rapid transit, and the expected Metrolinx additions (map won't allow more line layers), only showing Hwy 7 BRT with more useful York Region needs.

Going back to even as far as maybe two or so years ago, I was more active in creating ion of what Burlington Transit should look like through my eyes. However, being visually impaired, these features of Google Maps seem to be very intimidating and at times, can be too visual. Add to that, that the liens, when I finally started to figure things out that the lines often were well, not too sure how to explain it, as they wouldn't go where I wanted them to go. Generally, it became way too visual for my liking and often, I had a couple people try to help me with them. I've given up altogether.

However, when I've been seeing other versions of maps with other software, I started to think if I could look at doing my fantasy Burlington or Oakville maps again. But am not so sure with the visual aspects again, unless if these better software or versions are more accessible overall.
