  1. I know Edmontons trying out Whyte Avenue buses on latenight weekends As for Winnipeg: Bus service end: 2 am (2:15 am ABSOLUTE latest) or 1 am (1:15 latest). I barely manage to catch the last bus
  2. 3 AM?!?! WOW. Winnipeg Transit just got owned.
  3. D901* 100s were all D901s. 340-399, 630-699 and all 800 series are Winnipegs D40s. Speaking of D40s: 390 at the Airport (route 20), still painted in Orange and Cream livery
  4. Me second, this threads been dead for three months. There HAS to be something new at that plant
  5. Kinguni, I have finally made it to Confusion Corner to see Osborne! Also saw an Invero, an D40, two D40LFRS and an Classic all at once at the stop light. Wish I had my camera for that one (was eating)
  6. Winnipeg Transit D40i #910, at Richardson International Airport working the 15. I believe I took this right after the new terminal opened. Also, can someone teach me how to shrink picture files for CPTDB?
  7. Maybe the actual police would do something compared to those "Peace Officers"...
  8. I'd rather have no legroom than stare someone in the face down the NW line for 30 minutes (voted Series 8)
  9. (update, doesn't let me edit post on phone) spotted on 719 as well
  10. "Sorry not in service" sign display spotted on 400-series D40LF. At burger king (good vantage point to see Winnipeg Transit buses rushing out for PM Peak) and my iPhone surprisingly can log-in to CPTDB!
  11. I havent been on Logan in AGES. Wonder where the name comes from anyway
  12. Interesting. Too bad they aren't doing passanger test trials. I'd sign up for that!
  13. (reads article) Just wondering, why can't they extend it past peak hours and second, have they forgot about shoppers? Theres nothing but garbage for shopping in North Calgary (minus Centre St), so that'd be a HUGE revenue base if worked right. Also, does the ICE have to go straight downtown between 9 am and 3:30 pm? Can't it just meet up with Calgary Transit at McKnight-Westwinds or Centre St, and hereby increase frequency with a shorter route and letting the LRT take care of the ones heading into the city? Well, that or designate one as an Crossiron ICE bus, and use the rest for Calgary?
  14. Too bad Crossiron Mills isn't connecting with Airdrie ICE. I'd be willing to pay $5 for ICE fare to shop there, and then it'd reduce congestion on Deerfoot Trail. Also: 62 people (D60LFR seating capacity if I remember correctly) x $5 = $310/dropoff of Calgary shoppers (gross, NO IDEA what net income would be). Times that by an 30-45 min frequency for 6 hours (assuming people shop mostly between 3 and 9 pm), would range in between $3,720 (30 min frequency), to $2,480 (45 minutes), to $1,860 (60 minutes). As I've never been on an ICE bus, I'd have to ask you guys if you know if theres Airdrie transfers. If not, then those same people would be paying for a return trip, therefore doubling the amount ($7,440/$4,960/$3,720). Also, the transfer would pretty much barely last a two-way trip assuming its an 60 minute transfer (along with that shoppers bussed to Crossiron to shop!) Hopefully, my math isn't too bad haha
  15. I totally will on Monday when I'm off. Finally got an buspass as well, so no more one-minute looks with a transfer As for bus training, it does look pretty simple for the route itself. After you leave the RT route though, I could definitely understand with the local streets
  16. Longer if you include 7001
  17. Hey guys, I was reading a link somewhere and it said that CrossIron Mills has an employee shuttle service. What buse's would it use, and is there anywhere where I can find more information? http://www.crossironmills.com/File/File/507/file.ashx (edit, found link)
  18. Is that an D901 or one of them Orions? Also if I may, what fleet "livery" is that?
  19. Thanks! It took me awhile to find what street it was on for the parade beforehand, but I did try to get as many pictures as I could. Got some before they rolled it from 70 to 1, and have some of the Xmas lights as well. For next year, you guys should get 107 out! People might get tired of seeing 751 after awhile.
  20. Winnipeg Transit didn't even reply when I gave them my suggestions (ironic cause they asked for Rapid Transit feedback too), so at least Calgary Transit is polite enough to reply lol
  21. 908 on the 26 about an week ago, and unknown Invero speeding down Portage yesterday at 7:50 am
