  1. Why can't we just create an 2011 version? That or use the Calgary/Edmonton fareboxes that actually look like they're recent
  2. 5'10, 225 lb and it was way better compared to those crappy D40LF seats
  3. Oh wow, GM galore lol. Too bad you guys never ordered any D40's. They would've looked good in 1980s ETS colors
  4. Just wondering, was there any Western Flyer, pre-1993 New Flyer, Orion or MCI buses in the ETS fleet? The wiki doesn't list any historical buses
  5. Alrighty. I'm 17, so I dont know these things too well... yet
  6. Those three should be on the 24 or 21 during the weekdays next week. I rarely get to ride them, and the last time I did was either Calgary or Edmonton since they ordered 100ish
  7. They are? I've only seen them once in the past year!
  8. When wiill they be FULLY phased out? Or shall I dare say refurbished?
  9. Any idea where these are? Or if they're even still in service?
  10. Quick question: the 24 ness express quits after 6:45 right? i got on the bus with my dad near 8 pm, and #107 still said it was an express!!!
  11. I ate a banana cream thingy from the cafe near Churchill LRT and had Coca-Cola on the 590 when heading to the Airport to go back home to Winnipeg. They didn't care
  12. They'd rather line up their own coffers than help out Winnipeggers?
  13. How feasible would it be, to have Assiniboia Downs turn into a Park and Ride? It could provide service for out-of-towners, along with the Iceplex and Assiniboia Downs itself. Possible route options: 23 - Pointe West Express (6 am - 7 pm Downtown with 20 min freq), 23 Pointe West (20 minute frequency with two D30LFs from Assiniboia Downs to Unicity) 82 - Route extension to Assiniboia Park and Ride 21 - Peak Service? (either Grace Hospital or Assiniboia Park and Ride) 4 - Centreport West (Assiniboia P&R, to Centreport Canada via Unicity. Spares commuters the drive, and opens the road for freight trucks). Frequency every 30 to 45 minutes? To start off with anyway If a residential area across from Pointe West could be established, there will ALWAYS be transit commuters cause then: - Schools are across Perimetre (Buchanan, Hedges, JT) - Shopping Centres are across as well (Unicity as an example) - No one would want to walk under the Overpass (especially with speeing cars and -40 winters) to get to the other side!!! Again, just an idea needing other thoughts and input
  14. I just need to get my license, and I'm set! Sadly, MPI (Manitoba Public Insurance) harshly marked me when I was doing my tests (I'm 17)
  15. Whats the benefits of a Calgary Transit driver? And whats needed? Looking for a job out there
  16. 140 and 145, both 21 Portage Express
  17. Damn. Hopefully, I can catch them another time. Would REALLY love the chance to ride a GM Fishbowl and an Orion again
  18. Where could I catch it though, or get to ride it?
  19. Wheres this convention, may I ask?
  20. 143 - 21 Portage Express @ Portage and Ferry, 8:20 am
  21. One ETS bus and seven Winnipeg Transit buses. Other agencies, i have no idea (limited knowledge to only calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg transit colors)
  22. the Bluebird buses look medieval compared to the D35LFR's

    help

Hello, Is anyone here a Winnipeg Transit driver? If so, could someone look into the Lost and Found department for an Canon Powershot a480? It's black and has some pictures of the new Phase I busway, along with some pics of Edmonton and maybe Calgary. Lost the damn thing on the last 26 bus this evening (26 Logan-Berry, City Hall, 7:20ish PM), and i'd really like it back. Reward a possibility
