  1. That weekend it seems like they're keeping with 30 minute frequency with the buses. However unlike previous weekends, there are times in the morning and the evening when only the 90R and 90W buses are running. And it's only 2 buses (one 90B and one 90R/90W) per bunch as well.
  2. I spoke a little too early; they posted the full changes on Tuesday. Most interstingly, it seems like route 4 will no longer be directly serving the hospital, and the community routes will start serving the downtown terminal.
  3. Apparently, buses are now on the summer schedule as of yesterday, with no late night service on the 5 and 6, plus with the 11 suspended. And pretty expected, they haven't updated the website, Google Maps or the Transit app to reflect the summer schedule. I expect a lot of people are being/will be left out to dry expecting either the 11 or the late night buses with this now inaccurate info still being up. - Also the 9 is starting to detour via Kawartha Heights Blvd due to construction on Brealey. Funnily enough, it's temporarily a partial reversal of the route changes that came last September. It does means that the route now has two rather significant detours, along with the detour via Reid, McDonnel, and George/Water around Parkhill:
  4. Hi, there are some new things since November that I'd like to see be put in and updated on the main Peterborough Transit article: There's a new route, the 12 Otonabee that was introduced this January Fares increased in February, they're like this now: Cash single ride: Fare Type Cost Single Rider - Includes Accessible Van Service, Community Bus $3.00 Trans Cab (or $0.75 to the Trans Cab driver if you have already paid the bus fare) $3.75 Passes: Fare type Cost Single ride $3.00 Two ride $6.00 Day pass (covers two adults) $10.00 Ten ride $27.00 30 Day Adult $72.00 30 Day Student (to Grade 12) $66.00 30 Day Senior (65+) $50.00 Semi Senior (6 months) January 1st to June 30th $165.00 Semi Senior (6 months) July 1st to December 31st $165.00 Annual Senior - January 1st to December 31st $275.00 Also they now have a site where you can track most of the buses: https://pt.mytransitride.com/. I think it'd be nice to have it on the page since Peterborough Transit's bus info seems to be proprietary and also not on Transsee.
  5. Yesterday evening I was at Oshawa GO and saw that all of the trains on the departures board were only using platform 1. Not completely sure if whether it's preparation for 15-minute service starting on Sunday or it was related to Lakeshore West being hourly over the weekend. Right now looking at the GO Tracker, trains are using both platforms. Also pretty interesting to see "No data/Pas de données" on the departures board. Last time I saw that was actually two weeks ago on the 7th. That time MP40PH 626 was powering that train, and looking at Transsee it's the same case here.
  6. Currently, VIVA LFSA 1386, 1390, 1393 are on Viva Orange alongside A330 5157. - Looking at Transsee, there currently are 17 of them out right now. Earlier today in the afternoon (before rush hour) there were like 20.
  7. I somehow didn't realize it, but the 95 will start running on the 29th. It'll run every 30 minutes between White Oaks Mall and Fanshawe College (the Oxford Campus), rush-hour only. It looks like the 95 should be using stop 4 at White Oaks Mall (shared with the 10), and also stop 4 at Fanshawe College (shared with the 17 EB iirc). Also routes oriented for college and university students are being suspended/service is reduced for the summer. It's nice to see this. The 10 has been very terrible in terms of overcrowding, especially during rush hour. - Looking at Transsee, 9 of the new buses are out right now, also: 612 on the 25 614 on the 20 615 on the 2 616 on the 20 618 on the 7 619 on the 91 620 on the 9 621 on the 34 622 on the 31
  8. Just for fun, I was looking at all my options for my Peterborough-Richmond Hill trip. From Oshawa, the fastest ways will be either Lakeshore East to Pickering, 94 to Sheppard-Yonge, Line 1 to Finch, then Viva Blue/99/360 to Richmond Hill; or Lakeshore East to Danforth, Line 2 to Bloor-Yonge, Line 1 to Finch, and also Viva Blue/99/360 to Richmond Hill. Both of which take me about 3h50min, which still is about 40 minutes slower than how it is currently, but still 20 minutes faster than waiting an hour for the 52. Out of all of this, I do wonder if any routes (such as the 94) will start getting more service due to higher demand. I certainly know that I'll start going via Pickering since (alongside going via Danforth) it'll be the fastest way for me.
  9. I've been looking at the new schedules, and as someone who relies on buses a lot, I'm not liking the reductions in bus service. For example, a trip that I do a lot is Peterborough to the Richmond Hill Centre (it's a really long trip, I know). The trip would usually involve the 88 then either just the 52/56, or the 96B with a transfer to Viva Blue. With the new schedule if I'm leaving early in the morning on the weekend, I either could wait an hour for either the 52 or 96B since they both run every 2 hours early morning (and the 88 arrives at Oshawa in the middle of that gap) or alternatively go to Union, take Line 1 up to Finch, then take Viva Blue. Currently it takes about 3 hours, but with the changes it means it will take nearly 4 hours (both with going via Union and with waiting an hour in Oshawa).
  10. As of right now: DRT 0108 on route 916 DRT 0110 on route 224 DRT 0112 on route 917 DRT 0114 on route 319 DRT 8473 on route 905A VIVA 5132 on Viva Blue VIVA 2288 on Viva Orange
  11. DRT 8470 is tracking on the 901A, and 8473 is on the 900B right now.
  12. It was 0107. Caught it at the Pickering Parkway Terminal this afternoon.
  13. I hope so as well. I took the first SB afternoon trip on Friday and there were easily about 30 people at UTM waiting for the 199, so there definitely is demand for the route. It would check out if it's just suspended until September given it's April. At both the Gateway Terminal and UTM there weren't notices that Friday was the last day for the route. (Does Brampton Transit usually put up notices like MiWay for service changes?)
