Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority or SORTA, is the public transit agency serving Cincinnati, Ohio and its suburbs.

History

SORTA replaced the previous operator, the Cincinnati Transit Company in 1973.

  • 441 was damaged by an engine fire. It was subsequently cut down to 30 feet and had its rear door removed. It ran in revenue service for approximately 2 weeks before being taken out permanently. Its engine & transmission were removed, it was renumbered to 2001 and was used as training vehicle/simulator through 2010.[2]
