D40-90
I love Basketball, so I had to start a Theard on the Basketball. Raptors are 4-2 and they are going to play Boston and their record is 6-1. I think, and if you know the teams well, Boston is most likely going to when. Bosh was player of the week last week. Jermaine O'neal got dunked on twice the year. LOL Iverson recently got traded to Detroit. Yesterday was His first game with them. He got the first point in the game, but lose to Boston. A lot a steals. Predictions: Boston is winning again this year. Just post anything about NBA or any Basketball events, including WNBA, NCAA basketball, even High school ball. Ohh and High School Basketball in Toronto is starting this month. Like the last week or so.

wil9402
Predictions: Boston is winning again this year. I think Lakers might win this year, or at least make it to the finals. They are 7-0 right now, the only undefeated team left. Atlanta was doing pretty good as well at the beginning, they are #3 in the east right now under Cleveland and Boston. Oklahoma City Thunder haven't started off very well for their first season. They are 1-8, last in the west. In NBA news, the league suspended Houston Rockets' Rafer Alston for two games and Phoenix Suns' Matt Barnes for two as well and Steve Nash one game for fighting. The league also fined Shaq US$35,000 (approx. CAN$45,000) and Barnes, both of the Suns, $25,000 for getting into a fight where Shaq pushed the Rockets' five players and their coach like dominoes.Barnes knocked back Alston with his shoulder late in the third quarter, and Alston charged him. Nash (you can tell he is Canadian by the bold print) ran in and was pushed back by McGrady, who was shoved down by O'Neal. Nash, a Victoria native, was cited for ''escalating the altercation.'' He and Barnes will miss Friday's game at Sacramento, and Barnes will sit Sunday against Detroit. Alston will miss games Friday against San Antonio and Saturday against New Orleans. That fight was very interesting to watch on Youtube. I don't know what Shaq was thinking, pushing everybody in his way trying to get to Rafer. 38 Highland Creek
In other NBA news, Toronto Raptors fired head coach Sam Mitchell after they got drubbed 132-93 by the Denver Nuggets. Jay Triano takes over as the interim head coach becoming the first Canadian-born head coach in NBA history.

38 Highland Creek
Raptors drop their 4th straight, and fall to 8-11 on the season after losing 99-98 this afternoon. Lost both games since Jay took over. If it wasn't for that 3-pointer by Portland Trailblazers' Steve Blake, the Raps could've won.
38 Highland Creek
Raptors lost to New Jersey Nets 94-87. Best players of the game: Toronto: Chris Bosh and Jason Kapono both had 17 points each. New Jersey: Vince Carter (remember him from back when he played his first and last games as a Raptor?) had 10 rebounds while Ryan Anderson had 21 points. Raptors had 2 technical fouls. One to CB4; the other to Jay.

wil9402
Vince carter goes off against Raptors all the time. Except last Friday. Vince went 0-13 in that game, along with the fact that the Nets were playing sloppy that game I think. That was the only reason the Raptors won that game easily, 101-79. I'm looking forward to seeing Fridays Raptors game against Oklahoma City, the Thunder are currently 2-24 .
