exo/contractor bus sightings (was: CIT Sightings)

Recommended Posts

According to my notes, 2862 is a 2008 Novabus LFS. It used to be Wrapped for Mont-Orford along with 2860.

On the other hand, I only have one person (not me) who has seen it before and that was on January 30th, 2009. I've never seen or photographed this bus.

After careful consideration, I've decided to remove that sighting from the system. I'll add it back if it's seen again.

Thanks!

Your welcome Alex!

I will ask my Richelain driver on Monday if a 2862 exists and get back to you!

From what I've heard is: STO got the last Classic built with A/C, while Autobus Auger got the last one period.

where did you make your signature?

652210 hors service on Ch St Louis and Ste Charles (all white ghost livery)

652 used to run with VR:

The following classics were seen as well:

625215 (all white ghost livery)

I've got 625-30-7 as an RTS...

CITCRC

120: 29701 with roll sign set to Longueuil. Does CITCRC have a route 120? That's the number that was indicated in the run box, which is used as a route number indicator.

CITCRC 120 is an Express between the Park and Ride in Chambly and the Metro. It only has 3 departures per day (2 x AM to Chambly; 1 x PM to Longueuil)

Reading the list again, come to think of it, never seen a 2472 LFS

I believe that 2472 is a Dupont Cartier but can't be sure...

It is a Cartier. My mistake. Corrected.

Yesterday I spotted this at an old T.C. La Québecoise garage in Candiac:

A 2005 Dupont Cartier (CIT Le Richelain 2574) in need of repairs. It still has an OPUS reader.

That's were La Quebecoise parks their retired buses. That bus will not be returning to service or at least it shouldn't be...

The above user's avatar has been removed. Instead of doing the classy thing (like 2-8-2 Mike did) and asked to use my AG700 pic as an avatar, this was ruthlessly and shamelessly used without consent, and as such, it has been in turn ruthlessly and shamelessly suppressed.

Not a good way to create a first impression on the board!

Thanks for respecting people's copyrights.

Sighting today

CITCRC

52401: RTS-06 Suburban (Not in the roster)

It was the first time I saw it...

Also, another correction in the roster of the first page

34504 is not a Prevost LeMirageXLII but a Prevost LeMirageXL

It's on the Roster under Ville de Saint-Jean.

- 52404 (NovaBus 30ft RTS)

Where did you see this? What Route? What time <_<?

It is definitely a 30ft RTS. It had the CITCRC logo on it.

Saw it in Chambly around 5:10PM on route 10 heading towards Montreal. I am pretty sure I've seen it before in Chambly.

Was it spotted recently in service for Ville de St-Jean ???

Ok... the actual number is 52404 (sorry... my mistake). Is is officially an RTS-06 WFD used by CITCRC and not by Ville de St-Jean. It is probably used as a spare by CRC because I have very rarely seen it before. The capacity of the bus must be very small because, appart for it being 30ft. long, it appears that there are doors in the middle of the bus (this is the only CRC bus with such doors).

I found a picture of it on a gallery. Here is the link: PICTURE

Maybe it's ex-OMIT St-Jean. Or is it? I think it's St-Jean that has those short Orion Vs.

Yup, it got repainted from OMIT St Jean to CITCRC colors! I got to find this bus now! So is it Chambly local or does it come to TCV downtown Montreal during peak hours?
