  1. 2-0015 still alive this morning on detour on JC bridge to TCV, route 30
  2. Today was very poor for service reliability this morning at the RTL. A collision caused the closure of the new Champlain Bridge for over an hour this morning direction Montreal. I was replacing a friend at work today so I had the joy of driving C2-0210 on the 144. From Panama to Bonaventure via the JC bridge (and Metro Longueuil - decided to do the passengers a solid), it took just over 1.5 hours. Of course I had school extra 670 after this. Some of the poor students waited out in the cold for over 40 minutes due to the delay and detour. I felt bad but people need to learn to dress to conditions. Finally, I would like to state that this bus had no turbo and it was pathetically slow.
  3. Yesterday in the morning the RTL had articulated buses on the 45, however these were most likely changed off as day turned into night. Looking out my window, the south shore does not seem so badly hit.
  4. 36-901, 902, and 903 all seen active on the 36 over the course of yesterday and today. I thought that these vehicles were leased demonstrators and were due to be returned. Does anyone have news on the outcome of these buses?
  5. Two nights ago, 22-394 was at the 420 by Terminus Mansfield at the tail end of pm rush! 22-407 still alive and still painted, yesterday ET on Aut Bona and this am rush on 168
  6. Better late than never, on 31 December 2019, C2-0004 was an extra on the 83 leaving on the :40 in the afternoon. There is talk that many 2000s were mass retired and now parked behind GALO. I cannot confirm this as I am never there anymore.
  7. Better late than never, on 31 December 2019, 21404 was on the 4 And I drove 21105 on the 5 on 2 January 2020 since dispatchers allowed me choice of vehicle!
  8. Ha I witnessed that! A few friends and I were standing by the ladder track at Russell patiently waiting for 4068 to pass by. We formed a photo line and convinced the strangers around us to do the same. As 4068 lurched forward slowly to give us the chance for better photos and videos, this jagoff (and I am remaining polite here) had the indecency to nearly ruin all of our photos. Had it not been for a fellow admin here yelling at this guy and warning him not to get too close to us (will not name names), our photo would have been royally blocked by some lanky Asian kid who clearly did not know how the game was played. Perhaps this is archetypical of the me first Toronto entitlement craze that sadly does not seem to be going away anytime soon. If said jagoff is reading this right now, I want you to know that your behaviour is inexcusable and you should be ashamed of yourself. I can now see why respected and knowledgeable individuals here have severely curtailed their participation at such public or private events, or even on this board, refusing to be associated with these fairweather "enthusiasts". I flew from YUL with a friend especially for the event, and we were happy to ride 4081, which in large part was not bogged down by selfish enthusiasts. The operator was completely professional and was kind enough to share transfers as souvenirs. Overall the trip was worth it and I am sorry that you guys have lost such an iconic vehicle.
  9. On Sunday morning, I rode 39-010 on the 747. It was not so bad actually.
  10. Well, 20601 was running today. I think the chances are fair - not great but not impossible either. ZF Novas? Rush hour almost anywhere should be good, in particular TCV, Panama, or Metro Longueuil. Avoid accessible routes such as 4 or 77... all you would find are 2012+ buses typically.
  11. RTL 22019 deadheading this morning on Taschereau opposite Terminus Panama Last days of disco for 36-901 on 2 run 36 this am rush
  12. Scoop! Route 15 to become accessible in the coming months. As seen on a destination sign. No date has been advanced yet. It is not official for January 2020 booking.
  13. Could be because ATUQ no longer options a dedicated fast idle switch RTL lost theirs part way through the 2018 order
  14. AM rush, 39-902 on 1 run 36 near tcv RTL: 21316 on the 16, 21715 on the 15, and 21821 on the 21
  15. 2-0011 unloading at Terminus Mansfield this morning as a route 86
  16. All info sent to confirmed participants. If you would like to join us, please write to me at yulbuscharters at gmail dot com, thank you!
  17. Indeed, AE plates have made a comeback. I guess SAAQ is divesting of backlog. Otherwise they will soon reach 6 digit bus plates ex: A123456. Not that this is a problem. Dealer X plates have been there for some time.
  18. Thanks @Enviro_1203 for addressing this concern. It is unfortunate that it has come to this, and we take no pleasure in suspending anyone. But we have reached a breaking point. I suppose that everybody is entitled to their opinion, but if we were truly bad admins, then we would have a) never received the positions and b) had complaints about us to the point where we would be removed from our duties. Rest assured that the admin team is working (on a completely voluntary basis lest it needed to be reminded) for the betterment of this community. This means enforcing rules. Rules that are clearly stated here; or netiquette in general. Bad netiquette is hashing up old topics from years past and reporting them to admin with the intention of placing posts in appropriate forums or subforums. Everything we have been enforcing is common sense but some people have not been getting the message. At the end of the day constant reports or requests from one individual is considered harassment. I'm sorry but we have lives outside of buses, and there are limits to which we are willing to accommodate OCD or whatever other disorders exists out there.
  19. I happened to be at Côte-Vertu yesterday pm rush and saw 22-309 on the 213 as well as 22-271 or 371 (I am sorry, my memory escapes me) on the 70
