Its not really a trolleybus. the poles are from units beside it!

This many of us have done here in Edmonton in the past with our Trolley Buses.. IF its stuck on a breaker or gone too far out, we have gone and given the driver a push. Saves waiting a half hour for a push truck to come out. lol. Lots of fun. I think Martin has a couple pics of trolley's being pushed!

175 is back on Bills run with a new pole, new line and definatly new shoes. man are they quiet!

I believe 175 was that one I also believe it broke a pole! On another matter. #330 sat outside my office from before 730am when i got in and didnt leave till about 13:15 today. it was running the whole time and was empty and was puffing out blue smoke and had training signs on it That royally pissed me off for the waste of fuel, waste of life on the vehicle and damage to the environment

of course the trolley is still the better of the buses!

yeppers and the 2nd one is Garry. He worked in aviation.. now like many of the guys, is retired and spends a good amount of time working with the ERRS. For the ones that arent members like Terry and myself: We need more younger guys to come out and join up and get involved. It is so much fun people. You join up, we will even train you to be a motorman and you can drive streetcars in the park or after that on the high level bridge. you can also help with working on these cars and restorations. Here is one for you.. Trying to get a pic of Xedmonton #1 streetcar with it totally up on jacks and of course some guys have to be strong and lift it higher! lol

Never even talk to him mostly.. i just don't like what has become of him. i think he has lost his real transit attitude and has becomeo friends with a certain councillor that gives me chills down my back every time someone mentions her name... And yes that would be awesome to have microbus take us out!

That is true.. however what i did that was really cool was walked right to the one edge of the bridge on the steel girder and looked down.. what a view! now normally im terrified of heights like this but this bridge is such an exception. i think its more exhilerating than anything! lol.

Pffftt... you should know my opinions as of late... and trust me I don't consider people who lie as great pals....

The thing is awesome. i did take my hat off for fear of losing it but at some time we were doing about 60 clicks an hour across... its a big thrill with the weather being cooler adn my bald head ill tell ya but i didnt want to lose my hat lol.
