  1. All the advertising panels on Bay Platform has been overtaken by City TV Breakfast Television.. i wonder if they are going to do other wraps too
  2. I enjoyed a quick trip up the street and back on trolleys. 172 says she is losing her poles on straight wire and lost them at coliseum. since it is only one and her poles are straight and stuff. it looks like a shoe issue. hopefully she will survive because i know she doesn't like trolleys. ha first thing she said to me as i got on the bus was DON'T SAY IT! lol... i just smiled and giggled and she told me the troubles she was having. nice lady. hates trolleys lol... on the way back i had 198. running smooth as a bell!
  3. It was a regular driver and i belive i saw a couple passengers on board! its a really wierd one unless somebody but a wrong code in it... ARE YOU SERIOUS??? ON A WEEKEND??? WOOHOOOOOOOokewl i have to do some errands today and i love a sunday when i get to see some tits!
  4. This was on the destination sign. No matter what though. 13 doesnt stop at kingsway... Martin saw it too!
  5. Really wierd tonight. Was at dinner with my wife, her friend and martin and we saw a Route 13 Grant Macewan CC on the sign northbound at Kingsway. Really wierd to see.. especially on a saturday night!! I checked the running boards and nothing with this route in this area at that time! On saturday all routes only run between northgate and castledowns. I didnt even know there was a code for this. anyone else know?
  6. Hell anyone that wears oilers clothing looks hideous!
  7. Updated current and previous photo's of week/month... yeah i know.. im a lil slow.. but im a busy boy!
  8. ive noticed 81 out quite regularly on the route 305. 198 was running fine when i was on it where i got it at 440 at coliseum.. seemed to run fine all the way to my house at least.
  9. Actually without the BBC's we wouldn't be able to make bookout right now and runs would have to be cut. The bbc's are stepping up to the plate. there not failing to do that.
  10. I don't doubt that a big part of this problem is lack of preventive maintenance and repair... however to me, i still believe that the d40lf's from new flyer show their lack of strength and reliability even when they were being taken care of. if a 4500+ is having mechanical issues already that is not necessary poor maintenance. how can it be only poor maintenance when they are only a year old... i know they will never compare to a gmc or a brill or anything but they still suck as far as im concerned. You don't here council or management telling them to only do emergency maintenance on the diesels... they tell them to give it their best! You go to europe and stuff and find 40foot diesel buses that run great there with minimal maintenance.. im sorry if you don't like my hate for newflyer... however many people are always bashing the Trolleys here.. so i have every right to bash the diesels.. btw, i do believe our bbc trolleys are on there hind legs and need to be replaced! but they have done there job and continue to step up to the plate no matter how much poor maintenance there is.
  11. well the day looked good and i just happened to look out the window at work here as 121 went by hooked up to a towtruck with a broken pole. this one was wierd because the pole was broken near the connection to the unit right on the bus as opposed to half way up the pole like im used to seeing.
  12. got any high quality pics yet? when i left st. kitts almost 6 years ago there was only 55 buses in the fleet... so its nice to see them increase by a few... How is your old xSan Diego?
  13. Another good trolley day 125 and 156 are parked outside my office laying over as training trolleys. I love where my office is! lol Bill had 198 today. ran like a charm!!
  14. Gotta love those reliable New Flyer Diesel Buses!! They are supposed to be #1 in reliability for our service!! Trust me. He has heard us all. no doubt about that!
  15. Those windows really toss the look out the door. they dont look like they belong lol
  16. So i talked to a gentleman that works with ETS and is on one of the purchasing comittees for the buses. He did verify that the first orion hybrid is sitting in ferrier and the second one should arrive tomorrow or the next day. He told me the other one got here so fast is aparently the driver superdrove it lol. So be expecting to see these in training mode over the next couple of months or so.
  17. since i get out at Churchill all i gotta say is Wow. they even painted the concourse area around the ceiling all red. This must be one hell of an expensive advertising bill. As for the LRT. i got on at coliseum at about 725-730 and i had lots of room. very rare.

I have to admit im a diehard Robin Williams fan too. 3 of my fav of his movies are Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam and Patch Adams.
  19. No Trolleys out today saw 4906, 4908 and 4910 on training pretty sad that the route 9 was a 40 footer at that time and was so packed they couldnt fit anyone else on!
  20. Taking my daughter to her first day of Pre-School yesterday, i was standing by 95 and 111 and noticed that drivers on the 3 are still having issues.. obviously there is a problem. why the F#$^ can't they seem to fix this thing???
  21. if there employees have too much time on their hands, then im sure ets could use them. especially if they are mechanics or EVM's
  22. and many more are currently been taken out as our shortage of working buses increases!
