Swift is Community Transit's brand of bus rapid transit.
Swift currently has 2 lines, Blue and Green.
Current Swift Lines
There are currently 3 Swift lines:
Line | Terminus | via | Terminus | Opened |
---|---|---|---|---|
Blue | Everett Station | Aurora Village Transit Center | Nov 2009 | |
Green | Seaway Transit Center | Mill Creek | Canyon Park Park & Ride | March 2019 |
Orange | McCollum Park P&R | Lynnwood TC, Ash Way P&R, Swamp Creek P&R, Mill Creek | Edmonds College Transit Center | March 2024 |
Swift Blue Line
Blue Line currently operates from Everett Station south along highway 99 to Aurora Village Transit Center.
There is a planned extension to Link 1 Line NE 185th Street Station when Lynnwood Link opens in 2024.
Swift Green Line
Green Line currently operates from Seaway Transit Center to Canyon Park Park and Ride.
There is a plan to extend the Green Line to UW Bothell by 2027-28.
Swift Orange Line
Orange Line currently travels from Edmonds Community College east to Lynnwood Transit Center, Ash Way Park and Ride, Mill Creek and terminating at McCollum Park Park and Ride.
Future Swift Lines
Swift Gold Line
Red Line is planned to travel from Everett Station north to Marysville terminating at Smokey Point Transit Center.
It is planned to open between 2027-2029.
Swift Bus Fleet
Swift has a dedicated fleet of buses in its own paint scheme. They do not run on regular Community Transit routes, as they do not have fareboxes or onboard ORCA readers. Regular Community Transit buses are used during snow storms as articulated buses perform poorly in snow.
