Route Diagram

Swift Green Line is a Bus Rapid Transit line operated by Community Transit in Snohomish County, WA. It is internally known as route 702.


Route Details

The southern terminus of the Swift Green Line is at Canyon Park Park & Ride in Bothell. The northern terminus is at Seaway Transit Center near the Boeing factory in Everett. Service on the Green Line runs from 4:15 AM to 11 PM on weekdays, 6 AM to 10 PM on Saturdays and 7 AM to 9 PM on Sundays.

The Green Line connects to the Blue Line at the intersection of Airport Road & Highway 99.

Heading south, the route gets on the Boeing Freeway from Seaway Boulevard, before then leaving the freeway at Airport Road. The route continues south on Airport Road, crossing Highway 99, then continuing over I-5 on 128th, then 132nd. The route turns south onto 16th Ave SE to then continue south on the Bothell Everett Highway. Nearing the southern end of the route, it turns east onto 220th St SE, then south on 17th Ave SE into Canyon Park P&R. The route loops back onto the Bothell Everett Highway via the I-5 offramp to return northbound.

History

  • November 2013 - proposal for a new Swift line to complement the Blue Line (simply named Swift at the time)
  • July 2017 - construction begins on Green Line stations and infrastructure
  • Mid-2018 - Seaway Transit Center construction is completed, forming the northern terminus of the line
  • March 24th, 2019 - Green Line opens to the public
