UB Stampede
UB Stampede is a transit service operating for University at Buffalo students for transportation within the university and the Buffalo Metro area. The background of the usage of the name "Stampede" is a nod to Victor E. Bull, the mascot for many of the University at Buffalo's sports teams (named the UB Bulls).
The service is operated by First Transit, by contract (for ten years, starting in 2012), for the University at Buffalo Parking and Transportation department.
On July 1, 2024, First Transit service will be replaced and operated by WeDriveU, formerly branded National Express.
Previous operators include Cognisa Student Transportation and Blue Bird Coach Lines.

Note: On special occasions, UB will operate shuttle services to specific events in the region, for persons affiliated with UB. These function may include the Taste of Buffalo, Italian Heritage Festival, events at First Niagara Center, among others.
