Rider Express

Rider Express Transportation is a company that provides scheduled passenger transportation and parcel express services based out of Regina, Saskatchewan and operating in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

History

The company received authority to begin operating regularly scheduled bus service immediately after the closure of the Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) on May 31, 2017.

The company received operating authorities in Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia to offer regularly scheduled bus service after the closure of routes operated in Western Canada by Greyhound Canada on October 31, 2018. Service was expanded to Ontario in 2021 following the deregulation of intercity bus service in that province, with the Toronto-Ottawa route starting service on June 28, 2021. A second route in Ontario between Windsor, London, and Toronto began operating on July 19, 2021; however, service to Windsor was cut after November 4, 2021. In Spring 2022, service on the Toronto-Kitchener-London route was suspended, and was replaced with a new Toronto-Niagara Falls route operating 4 days a week.
