Grand River Transit 21758-21766 are New Flyer XD40 buses built in 2017.

These buses are ordered for Route 302 ION Bus Service which runs from Fairway station to Cambridge and painted into ION inspired livery. Also these buses have several new features to GRT including full roofline, frameless windows, on board wifi and USB chargers.

These buses began entering service in April 2018; however, due to the delay of the Ion LRT, they initially operated on regular routes out of Conestoga Boulevard garage. After June 21, 2019 when the LRT begin operation, these buses are assigned exclusively to route 302 'ION Bus'.
