Grand River Transit 21401-21405 are New Flyer XD40 buses built in 2014.

The original 2014 order was supposed to total 11 buses, however due to the unsatisfactory performance of the 2013 XD40s, GRT reduced the order to 5 buses and delayed the retirement of the remaining 9400s.
