History
In December 2004, the Foothill Transit board of directors allowed the donation of 4 Gillig buses that were decommissioned following the delivery of the 2004 NABI CNG buses, F1400-F1474; the new operator would solely be responsible for maintenance work and that the Foothill peaks livery from those vehicles had to be removed within 7 days after being transferred.[1] Also, the Foothill board approved that later bus donations would be made only within Los Angeles County; this stance would later be reversed in 2014 when they sold 23 of their Orion V CNG buses to Nassau Inter-County Express.
The entire series was replaced by the 2012 New Flyer C40LFR buses (B75-B78).
