Ajax Pickering Transit Authority
The Ajax Pickering Transit Authority (APTA) was formed in 2001 with the merger of Ajax Transit and Pickering Transit operations. On January 1, 2006, APTA became part of Durham Region Transit.
Routes
The following routes were operated by APTA. Service arears were divided in to APTA East (Ajax) and APTA West (Pickering).[1] Routes were identified as rush hour or mid-day service by an R or M suffix respectively. Flag Bus routes are routes which operated like a community bus and are able to be flagged down in a safe location along the route.
