York Transit Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 I just got a new cell phone for Christmas and I keep getting phone calls for Wilson, but another Wilson with a different last name. I havn't even given out my number to people yet, but I keep getting calls. Today, I got 2 calls from a dentist confirming my appointment and a supposed friend calling for Wilson. What can I do? I don't want to keep having to pick up calls, wasting my minutes away, only to tell them they have the wrong number over and over again... It's weird that I got a number recycled to me from a guy who's name used to be Wilson as well. I mean, come on...how many Wilson's have you come across? lol Is it possible to request a number change? captaintrolley Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 Yes, you should be able to get a number change. Get call display and if you don't recognize the number, don't answer it. Recall the number from your phone and call it back from a land line (which won't waste away your minutes).
