  1. There is a photo of it at St Laurent posted on Facebook
  2. Before anyone gets overexcited, buses are very rarely delivered in numerical fleet number order!!
  3. The artics are not due until later in 2026
  4. The 85 doesn't go to Gatineau. The 8 and 13 are the only OC routes that cross the river.
  5. I spotted 2502 leaving St Laurent on training duties at 9.40 this evening.
  6. There are photos of it in service, together with a list of it runs, on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/734777213836735/
  7. That's the spirit, stay positive!
  8. 4849 is the highest numbered native OC vehicle
  9. And where exactly do you suggest OC get these buses from? Pretty much every other transit agency in North America is in exactly the same position regarding fleet replacements. There are very few, if any, buses available for lease or resale anywhere. There are large waiting times for new vehicles everywhere, there is no such thing as a bus showroom where you can walk in and buy one off a lot. Im sure if you know of any OC, or plenty of other cities, would love to hear from you.
  10. Wilson Lo always comes across as a disgruntled former employee when he talks of OC Transpo, did he leave the job on bad terms? Interestingly in article or the interviews on CBC this morning no mention was made of the 50 diesel buses that OC do have on order!
  11. Have you never seen the rear of the STO buses Downtown?
  12. The first train to Toronto leaves at 4.15am, and there's another at 5.30am. There's also an increasing number of coach departures from Via Rail, some early in the morning , and some late in the evening. The KLM/AIR France run to Montreal is timed for specific flights and if the flight is delayed for any reason the coach waits, my flight from Amsterdam was delayed 2 hours once and the connecting coach in Montreal, which leaves 2 hours after the flight lands, didn't arrive in Ottawa until around 11pm. There's also an Orleans Express run from Montreal Airport which arrives around midnight.
  13. There are two signs, the first one is high, the second one isnt.
  14. Not really surprised, it's news coverage is low quality sensationalism and rage baiting.
  15. It's in the press release, 2026.
  16. Additional order for electric vehicles confirmed. https://www.newflyer.com/2025/07/new-flyer-receives-significant-order-from-city-of-ottawas-oc-transpo-for-124-xcelsior-charge-ng-buses/
  17. 2504 has the "e-bus" wrap like 2501/2. This would suggest that 2501-5 are all wrapped.
  18. There is the new apartment block at the corner of Belfast and Trembley which is nearly finished, but yes there are very few houses on Tremblay itself, however the 18 has ran along Tremblay from Belfast to St Laurent for many years. However transport should be integrated, no matter who the operator is, and I think a direct link between the train station and the airport would be very useful.
  19. How about along Tremblay? Would give a direct link from VIA Rail to the Airport.
  20. That would make sense as at present there are zero connections from the Airport to the East End of the City without a convoluted journey through Downtown with numerous changes.
  21. Also there are no 15's in service at the time you posted, it only operates in the morning and afternoon peaks and there is a gap in service in both directions between approximately 9.30am and 3pm. Kitchener is GRT
  22. Not scheduled to enter service until later in the year, not even sure if they are all here yet, or where they are stored.
  23. We will find out all in good time
  24. Artics, but no official confirmation if they are NFI or Nova.
