31 Columbia is a conventional bus route operated by Grand River Transit. This route connects the Conestoga Mall Terminal with the communities of RIM Park, the Eastbridge, Lexington, Lincoln, Columbia, the University of Waterloo, Beechwood and Clair Hills.
There is no weekend service operated on this route.
As part of the 2013 Proposed Service Improvements Plan, this route was extend the route west on Columbia to Sundew Drive, removing service along Ring Road in the University of Waterloo. The east half of the route was be modified to service Bridge, Eastbridge, New Bedford, Chesapeake, Bridge, Frobisher, and Davenport to Conestoga Mall. The route was renamed from 31 Lexington to 31 Columbia to reflect the new, continuous service along Columbia Street. Service was be extended to 10:30pm.
