25 Queen South was a conventional bus route operated by Grand River Transit. This route connects the Charles Street Transit Terminal and the Highland Hills Mall Terminal with the communities of St. Mary's Hospital, Forest Hill, and Forest Heights West.
Service is provided via the Overlea Drive diversion outbound during weekday middays, weekday evenings, and Sundays/Holidays. Every other trip goes via the diversion on Saturday mornings and afternoons as well. During evenings and Sundays, the looping west of Highland Hills Mall is extended to provide service on Westforest, Highland, and Eastforest.
As part of the 2015 proposed service changes, route 25 would be combined with route 1 to provide a direct connection between Downtown Kitchener and The Boardwalk along Queen Street, Elm Ridge Drive, McGarry Drive, Driftwood Drive, Higview Drive and Ira Needles Boulevard.
