Starting on August 30, 2020, Edmonton Transit Service will operate 121 bus and 2 LRT routes. The third LRT line, the Valley Line, is expected to be open by 2022.

Past Route Structure
Routes 1-29 are Base (mainline) Routes.
Routes 30-39 are designated to areas in southeastern Edmonton between the North Saskatchewan River, Whitemud Creek, and city limits.
Routes 40-49 are designated to areas in southern Edmonton bounded by Whitemud Creek, Calgary Trail North, Whitemud Drive and city limits.
Routes 50-59 are designated to areas in south-central Edmonton bounded by Whitemud Creek, the North Saskatchan River and 103 Street/82 Avenue.
Routes 60-79 are designated to areas in southeast Edmonton bounded by Calgary Trail North, Whitemud Drive and city limits.
Routes 80-99 are designated to areas in eastern Edmonton bounded by 103 Street/82 Avenue, Whitemud Drive, the North Saskatchewan River and city limits.
Routes 100-119 are designated to areas in west/southwest Edmonton bounded by Stony Plain Road, the North Saskatchewan River and city limits.
Routes 120-139 are designated to areas in west Edmonton bounded by Stony Plain Road, Groat Road, the North Saskatchewan River, St. Albert Trail, Yellowhead Trail, 106/101 Streets, and city limits.
Routes 140-149 are designated to areas in central Edmonton bounded by 106/101 Streets, Yellowhead Trail and the North Saskatchewan River.
Routes 150-159 are designated to areas in north Edmonton bounded by St. Albert Trail, Yellowhead Trail, 137 Avenue and Fort Road.
Routes 160-179 are designated to areas in northwest Edmonton bounded by St. Albert Trail, 137 Avenue, 97 Street and city limits.
Routes 180-199 are designated to areas in northeast Edmonton bounded by 97 Street, 137 Avenue, Fort Road, Yellowhead Trail and city limits.
500-series routes are Special Services.
600-series, 700-series, 800-series and 900-series routes are School Specials.
