Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority 487-512 are Gillig Low Floor 40' (G27D102N4) buses built in 2016. These are the first non-BRT buses purchased from Gillig by the AAATA since 2003, the first buses with TwinVision destination signs and the first buses with a new livery in which the top half of the bus (including the destination sign area on the front) is light blue. 487-491 were used to replace 399-402 and 404, with the remaining units for expansion in preparation of a major restructuring of the AAATA on May 1, 2016.
