kitchenerlrt
Nice to hear. I first heard about this on Airliners.net. I'm surprised how they're considering Winnipeg and St. John.
hl7534
Nice to hear. I first heard about this on Airliners.net. I'm surprised how they're considering Winnipeg and St. John. Due to the strategic location of Keflavik Airport, there may be a market for a Winnipeg service on Icelandair, provided that enough feed is provided by Icelandair's European network. However, flights would have to be scheduled accordingly to ensure that connection times are reasonable enough, because I am assuming that the vast majority of the passengers who would use such a flight would be connecting onwards to other destinations such as LHR, GLA or CPH. The Tourism O & D market alone from Winnipeg to Iceland would be too thin.
