hl7534
the quality of the airline is 2 Star!? why? Here are some of the possible factors: Poor ontime performance / dispatch reliability rate: - Delays - Cancellations Poor Inflight service: - Staff attitude - Poor cabin crew interaction with passengers - Cabin crew language proficiency below average - Cabin crew helpfulness below average - Lack of personality Poor Ground/Airport service: - Overbookings - Abrupt schedule changes - Ground staff attitude - Poor efficiency - Disorderly boarding procedures - Lost baggage - Lack of lounge facilities - Limited selection of food, drinks or amenities at lounge facilities Poor In-flight products: - Lack of In-flight entertainment / Personal TV screens - Lack of lie flat or flat bed seats in premium cabins - Lack of adequate inflight amenities (eyeshades, toothbrush, slippers etc.) - Inadequate seat pitch - Inadequate seat width - Uncomfortable seat padding - General overall seat comfort - Lack of adjustable head rests - Inadequate recline - Below-average catering - Unclean cabin / lavatory Safety: - Poor maintenance - Poor crew resource management - Inadequate flight crew and cabin crew training - Practice of unsafe operational procedures (such as failing to provide safety demonstration / mismatched safety cards) - Poor safety record Misc.: - Frequency of staff strikes - Poor dispatching procedures - Stigma (negative connotations to the airline due to its origin, history etc.) - Route network / paradigm (Airlines that follow the hub-and-spoke principle tend to be more vulnerable to delays related to airport congestion) - Unattractive frequent flyer program - Poor branding etc.
