JonnyBronxville
How do I retrieve the current message listing which is stored in the onboard memory of a Luminator ODK-4 and be able to edit / update the message listing with new information? Please advise, Thank you Jonny Bronxville
Byfold
It is possible to retrieve the file. However since it is a compiled MTU file you won't be able to edit it. You'll have to start a file from scratch if you want to add or edit anything.
JonnyBronxville
So there is no way to "un-compile" the file? I'm asking because I'm VERY NEW to operating the IPS and I would rather edit what's already onboard then to go nuts trying to build the file from scratch

Orion 1200
Does anyone know if it is possible to import existing MTU files into IPS without them being attached to a project? I don't want to edit, just read and see what the codes and messages are.

Orion 1200
Thanks. I've done that and it shows the wording of the messages but not the codes.
