6358 refurb complete

4726 was involved in a major collision at Donald/Vanier Pkwy lastnight. The bus sustained significant front end damage and the car is unrecognizable based on photos/videos seen on social media.

The only way I see that is if OC was to replace the artics(when retired)with DD Buses instead of artics, but I don't see that ever happening. I suspect when the artics get retired OC will replace them with other artics. Whether they are NFI(any model) or Novabus(any model) or some other manufacture(any model) only time will tell.

I just looked at Google maps for official locations/counts.

Lanes 26-30 which are the lanes that run parallel to Belfast Rd each hold 16 deckers.

Lanes 4-25 which are the rest of the outdoor lanes fit 8 deckers or 6 artics.

Lanes 1-3 are indoor lanes which are used for parking of defect units.

Any buses towed in will be placed along the south wall adjacent to Industrial Ave.

Therefore, if there were only double deckers at Industrial garage, and each bus was a good bus ready for service, the max capacity based on where in service buses are parked is 256 buses.

What I like to know is how many DD Buses can Industrial Garage hold, with all buses 40 & 60 buses not there. I'm not sure of the exact # of DD Buses OC has presently, but how many DD Buses can Industrial hold with only DD Buses parked there.

With the present DD Bus fleet the ones we already have plus up to 8179 how many more can Industrial garage hold assuming you remove the arttics & 40' buses  that are there now? How many would we need to fill the gap? Fleet#?

Theres no specific number of buses that would be required to move elsewhere with the new Double Decker arrivals, however, its likely that the 40s would be moved back to other garages depending where they’re needed. There is plently of extra space at Industrial depot, and if it becomes too tight, maybe a handful of artics would be moved to Merivale as there is much more space there with the Orions undergoing retirement.

I know this is asking a lot, but at the present time I can't do it myself, do to the fact I was just Quarantined  for next 14 days? What I need is a straight on photo of the Novabus LFS front & Rear shots of the bus any fleet number will do. The reason being is I found a customized dealer in the US Collection Coner- http://collect-corner.net/ that  will do one up. It's 1/50 scale and will cost $100+ US, so any help would be appreciated in my request.

Bike rack installation has begun

Went into my archive of old photos looking for a photo of my favourite wrap of all time to no avail, however, I have found this shot of 4433 I took at Hurdman in 2009 when it was wrapped for uOttawa

8168, 8169 and 8170 delivered

8166 and 8167 delivered 

8164 and 8165 delivered to St Laurent

4610 is unwrapped

I cannot remember if it was here or elsewhere if someone was asking whether these buses had an Allison or ZF transmission...I can confirm they are Allison. Also, on the rear, fleet numbers were installed on the top right.

Seems as if they dont want buses turning left onto Bank from a street that is solely controlled by a stop sign, whereas Bank St is completely freeflowing

I believe the photos posted are proof enough. Wasnt there when I arrived at work at 17:00, was probably there early in the day

When one of the service trucks are out for repairs, a rental is used as there must be 3 service trucks out.
