  1. As far as I know, they send the results to TTC directly. I was informed by my recruiter that my medical was approved 2 weeks after my medical, I never called MTO.
  2. No they haven't changed it, it's just a more pleasant experience when the operators are of the personality and/or are in the position to strike up a conversation with job shadowers. For me, I had pleasant conversations with all the operators I shadowed except for the guy I did on the 320 who seemed a bit stressed out and didn't seem to want to talk.
  3. Sorry to hear that 1980, keep your head up and reapply as soon as you are permitted to, don't let this bump in the road discourage you.
  4. That's only because they received calls for documentation late within their 19 weeks. For example, yoyouptown's medical was on October 14, but she didn't get a call for documentation until recently because she was delayed with fingerprints, if you count the weeks from her medical to her start date, it's roughly 19 weeks. Also ImHopin2 had his medical on November 27th, he received his documentation call fairly early in his 19 weeks and had to wait 5 weeks for a training call, but if you count the weeks from his medical to his training, start date it's still 19 weeks. I assume it will be a similar situation for me, I realized that ImHopin2's process and mine have very similar timelines between steps. And thanks everybody for the congrats, I'm so excited to finally be going to documentation I meant to say October 4th sorry Shoot I mean December 4, I should go to bed now
  5. Thanks, I'll know once I get my training call, if it's 19 weeks from my medical to my training start date then I should be starting on June 1st.
  6. Thanks guys, I have some good news, I finally got the call for documentation, going in on April 8th.
  7. Congrats yoyouptown!I see my 19th week theory worked for you too more or less.
  8. Yup, that's about right, I know it seems like an eternity, but it will be here before you know it. I estimate that I'll get a call for training in 6 weeks or so.
  9. Earlier in the thread you said that your Medical was on March 20th, so your 19th week after your medical is the last week of July, a day after the Pan Am games closing ceremony, and you said you didn't expect to start until at least August, so that's about right though your start date may be delayed a few weeks due to the back up of people ahead of you who were not able to start on time due to not being able to train during the Pan Am games, but take my speculation with a grain of salt, this is just a theory, is not proven, and could change by the time August arrives.
  10. Hi guys, I just realized something that may help most people determine when they are going to start training. I've compared the processes of many of the members that started training or got a call for training recently in this forum and found one distinct pattern. It looks like most people start training approximately 19 weeks after their medical. This will probably be different for the members whose 19th week falls within the Pan Am games, but should work for anybody whose 19th week falls on or before the second week of June. So it's not when you have documentation that determines your start date, it's definitely the medical, documentation just has to occur sometime in between your medical and your training call, but it does nothing to determine your start date. It also doesn't seem to work if you had a long delay in your process such as fingerprints or problems getting ahold of references.
  11. No problem essen5, I know, I'm just warning you so that you don't get your hopes up too high that you'll hear anything soon. I'm getting a bit anxious now because my recruiter told me that I'd likely be starting in either March or April. March is definitely out the window and it's starting to look like April is a long shot as well, I was hoping I'd get something by the end of this week, but it's really hard to say lol.
  12. Yes, I had my conditional on Jan 6th and my medical on Jan 19th and I'm still waiting for a call for documemtation, expect a long wait.
  13. Congrats yoyouptown!!! Hi Jackiechan511 I'd say you should get a call for training in the next week or two with a start date in the next 3-4 weeks
  14. Congrats man! I'm really happy for you, hopefully I'm not too far behind you.
  15. TPS just stands for Toronto Police Service, yoyouptown already had to do finger prints and is now clear to proceed. Good luck yoyouptown, we're in the same boat.
  16. Hey guys, welcome to the forum. As said earlier on, there will be no training classes running during the Pan Am games which start in July as most of the buses will need to be in service, be prepared to wait quite some time before your start dates. I think the last training classes before the games will start in June or the end of May.
  17. Lol, April 30th is a Thursday and there are no holidays during that week, so I'm pretty certain he meant March 30th. Congrats K.I.A.B!
  18. Yeah man, no classes during the Pan Am games. Don't worry though, that time will come around faster than you know it.
  19. Nope, still waiting, hopefully by either the end of this week or the end of next week I'll get the call.
  20. Oh okay, Good luck, hope you get your call this week, I've been keeping tabs on your process because the lengths of time between each of your steps have been almost identical to mine.
  21. Hi ImHopin2, have you received a training call yet?
  22. l'm very sorry to hear that Shaheenaz, I wish you the best in the future.
  23. Oh okay I see, thanks for the info.
