Route 97 Darien Lake Express is a previous express bus service of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.
This service operated from Downtown Buffalo at the Buffalo Transportation Center non-stop to Darien Lake Amusement Park during the summer tourist season. Service was inaugurated on June 24, 2001.[1]
This service followed a similar service offered by D&F Transit in the 1980s.
This service operated seven-days-a-week on the same schedule.

Elimination of the route
Due to cost cutting measures, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority removed service officially on April 29, 2012. The last season for service to Darien Lake, therefore, was the summer 2011.[2]
