University Transit Centre is a light rail station operated by Edmonton Transit Service in Edmonton, AB.
It is located on 89 Avenue and 112 Street, in the centre of the University of Alberta campus.
The LRT station platform is 8.19m in width and 123.0m long.
History
University LRT Station opened on August 23, 1992, following completion of the Dudley B. Menzies Bridge across the North Saskatchewan River. It was the southern terminus of what is now known as the Capital Line, until Health Sciences/Jubilee opened in 2006.
