No. A separate company is installing the cameras and GPS right in the bus yards .. I believe the company is from Alberta.

y is yrt wasting their money and equipment putting all these gadgets on ancient orion Is when they firstly will be retiring soon and that there are newer buses yet to have the stuff installed??

unno, im actually somewhat disappointed that for all the media hype about their new slogan york connected, they didnt even put it onto the redecaled buses. theres so many white areas to put it on to fill some space.....

dont kno exactly which one but at around 1:45 a '96 orion v was about to turn onto bishop ave to rt 53 when a car stopped too close to it. when the light turned green and the bus tried to make a wide right turn as normal the car was in the blind spot and all i could remember was CRUNCH.....lolz funny and stupid for the car driver ..... learn to keep your distance from a turnn bus...

no somehow they removed the rogers wrap off315 recently but put on the old livery! unless they had the old one underneath the rogers wrap??

does anyone remember the huge delay from finch down on monday? apparantly there was some emergency at lawrence and medical crews had to go down to the station. some ppl were saynn tat a person got hit by a train???

005 and another 2000 orion 5 sandwiched 323 on 91....all 3 were on 91 actually and they were within 10 sec of eachother at one point

i think at least one of the canar ez riders also has gps ...

2 things in mind:

1. for the provincial buying consortium buses, does that mean that all specs are the same for all buyers? (seats engine tranny etc)

2. anyone know which and when the next new livery bus is coming out?

Quick question, do these buses have the LED display as well or just the automated announcements?

they should have led displays mounted on the ceiling like the TTC VIIs.

What service improvements will these buses be used for?

something clearly went wrong at yrt hq when they put 545 on the 91....i was unfortunate in having to endure the cramped agony from finch...the microbus was so cramped it was struggling tomove!

Just got onto 605 today...apparently they're getting CCTV next stop displays and more (2 white coloured boxes right over farebox), how long have these been installed and will there be an official announcement on this new technology?
