  1. Really not the best idea. If you want to do that, wait till we get some double decker ferries, or 5 minute frequencies on the Seabus. Then talk about sending thousands over to Lonsdale. Also, the loop at Lonsdale can't handle another ten buses. By the way, where's the Loins Gate Bridge? Never heard of it..

Let me get this straight... you want to funnel thousands of riders onto a 15 min service. In the hopes that it increase frequency and service... you're insane. And we already have services that do that. Its called. The 239. Also the seabus is messed up during peak hours as it is now!!

Lets see all the SeaBuses hold 400 passengers which currently shuttles 1600 passenger a cross the water per hour which is six days a week in off peak season. The buses would bring to the dock: 115 passenger per trip for West Vancouver D60LFR, 77 per trip for D40LF and 82 passenger per trip Nova LFS.

If they made 10 minute service seven days a week unlit 7:30 the SeaBus could 2400 passenger a cross the water per hour which is a lot of people.

  2. Most arctics that I am reading about CNG is saying that Surrey may get Natural Gas Fuelling Station which I guess TransLink may bring CNG buses to Surrey.

    24 hour: http://vancouver.24h...-gas-fuel-pumps

This article also says Hamilton transit centre may get CNG. Vancouver Sun: http://www.vancouver...1791/story.html

The Vancouver Sun article says that CNG will not save money and will waste more money bring it in. Is this true that CNG will not save money in the long run?

  3. I think West Vancouver Blue Bus should change routes that currently service Downtown Vancouver. By making the routes go to Lonsdale Quay because the Lions Gate Bridge seems to have a lot of problems with accidents closing the bridge this would be good. I think that would help make the SeaBus more frequent since more passenger would be using it.

  4. All route one vessels excluding the Queen of New Westminster.

  5. I was looking through my window but only saw the back of the bus but hopefully it was like a training as this route needs artics during peak times. Hopefully with the December service change the 5 - 8 min frequency will help the crowds. But the rear route sign read NIS if I'm correct.

What route requires 60 ft that goes to Scott Road Station?

I think the 502, some on 501, hopefully this will becomes true in a few years.

  6.

Ben Williams, president of CAW 333 in Victoria, maintains the hydrogen buses should be scrapped and the money used to provide transit in other areas of the province, such as Victoria. It added it doesn’t make sense to haul fuel from Quebec when the idea is to run the buses to reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.
Why can BC Transit not convert the buses into diesel or hybrid? They could still use the buses at reduce costs.
  7. 9434 is Victoria's Santa Bus, so I'm not sure if it will be out at all next weekend. Just check the website to see if any events are coming up. If the Santa Bus does any revenue runs, they usually post the schedule on the BCT website as well, but in the past that only happens for one or two days in mid-December

I do think the Santa Bus is in service. How do I check if it is in service?
