Hi Bbvision12, I received a complaint about some of your recent edits on the SporTran page. I took a look for myself and immediately saw some issues.

There were errors in your usage of model numbers for Gillig Low Floor buses.

For example, you changed this:

Fleet
Number(s)
Thumbnail Build
Date
Manufacturer Model Engine Transmission Notes
611 2008 Gillig Low Floor HEV 35'
(G30B102N4)
Cummins ISB Retired, still on property.

To this:

Fleet
Number(s)
Thumbnail Build
Date
Manufacturer Model Engine Transmission Notes
611 2008 Gillig Low Floor HEV 35'
(G21B102N4)
Cummins ISB Retired, still on property.

"G30B102N4" was correct, as the "30" specifies the engine used for hybrid buses, the Cummins ISB. "21" is incorrect, as that species the Cummins ISM engine, which was never used for hybrids.

Please feel free to take a look at the Gillig model number breakdown. I cleaned it up earlier to make it a bit easier to understand. However I may need to move it onto more Gillig bus related pages so it can be seen and read more: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Gillig#Model_Breakdown

I also made a breakdown table for Gillig Phantom model numbers: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Gillig_Phantom#Model_Designation

The other main issue I noticed was that you used a Gillig model number on a bus that wasn't made by Gillig. Here is what you had written:

Fleet
Number(s)
Thumbnail Build
Date
Manufacturer Model Engine Transmission Notes
401-408 2020 Champion Champion LF Transport
(G30D102N4)
411-419 2020 Champion Champion LF Transport
(G30D102N4)

The page for Champion is named "Champion Bus" and should labeled like this: "Champion Bus|Champion" before being enclosed in the double brackets. (Champion). Also, be sure to search/find the page for the model of bus you want to add to the page. Example: Champion Bus Incorporated LF Transport would have been the page to link instead of "Champion LF Transport."

I hope this will help you improve your future edits. Feel free to contact me or any other mod/admin with questions.

Thank you,
