  1. Hi @Rockstarr Training is 27 days long. As @TTCOpITM said there are no additional licencing requirements. Your G class is the only licence you need. There are various tests throughout training including written and practical. You will be given a schedule of these on day 1 of training. The best advice I can give is to ask questions if you don't understand something, and do the assigned homework. You will most likely be in the simulator on day 2 and in the yard on the train on day 3 or 4. Dead heading (no passengers) on the line shortly after that. Your training schedule will confirm all of this information. All the best to you.
  2. Thanks @Vinay The first two weeks were the most difficult for me, but do your homework and make sure you fully understand things. The instructors are great and are there to help you succeed. All the best to you. Which line are you going to?
  3. Hi Everyone, I just finished my subway training, and am now certified and ready to go! If anyone has any questions let me know. Thanks for the support during this phase. To all those waiting on a call/interview/start date etc... all the best to you.
  4. Hi everyone, Very excited to start Bloor/Danforth subway on Sept 18! Good luck to those waiting for calls or interviews etc... Any questions please let me know!
  5. Congrats @RocketmanCC glad to hear! All the best ! Hopefully I'm not far behind!
  6. Hi @Libra I was looking through the bus handbook. Some of it is only for school buses but most of it is for any bus. Not sure if it touches on air brakes or not... It is available online for free as well.
  7. Hi @Controller you do not receive any pre-training material at documentation. You seem to be moving fast through the process (compared to me anyway). Good luck. Any questions feel free to reach out.
  8. Hi @Newbie22 from what I remember at my info session (late Feb) they told us about 6 months to a start date. Keep in mind that timeframe can change in either direction. I will be going for documentation this week which is the final step before a start date. When was your interview?
  9. RocketmanCC I had a medical in May and have not received a call yet. I spoke with my recruiter about two weeks ago and was told it might be a few weeks as there are a large number of people in the pools. Fingers crossed it won't be that long...
  10. Hi everyone Medical was done last week, just waiting on police check (wont be any issue) and then documentation. I still have a bit more to wait, but the worst is behind me lol.
