Funny enough I wanted Bus and either Wilson or Arrow, so I guess I got my wish! Thank you!, time can't fly soon enough.

I'll be doing bus, out of Wilson and I'll be starting on the 27th.

My medical was late January, so I think you've still got about 2 weeks to go. I've got the documentation appointment next Wednesday.

Thank you! I've been reading the thread for quite some time now and I was really hoping 19 weeks wasn't the standard anymore. Tis but a small price to pay for a wonderful career. As for the clearance letter, I'll just have to keep checking the mail box everyday.

Update; I had my interview on Jan 5th, and they contacted most of my references excluding my current employer one week following my interview. About two weeks after my interview I received a call for my conditional offer on Jan 22nd and my medical subsequently on Jan 28th. On the day of my interview I signed a release form for my TPS clearance letter, when do you think the paperwork will be sent in? I know average wait time varies, but what have they been recently? I also recieved my interview invite, it's in January as well. Although I already completed my job shadow assignments, the same week of my information session. I figured, why postpone it. Best of luck with your endeavours Alex, hopefully one of those options works out for you.

First off, congratulations. I hope it goes well for you! When is your interview anyways?

They've changed the application process slightly, you apply online give a cover letter and resume then fill out a questionnaire. I believe the questionnaire replaced the phone interview, after that is completed and you are successful they send you and email stating; "Thank you for submitting your application for employment with the Toronto Transit Commission. This is to confirm we have received your application for the Transit Operator position and it is currently under review. We are hiring to meet future requirements with start dates at various times throughout the year. Your application will be retained on file for 12 months from the date of submission. We ask that you do not submit another application for this position within this timeframe or create another account with a different email address. Duplicate applications will not benefit you. We are committed to a fair and equitable process. Please note that due to the high volume of applications received we are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding the status of your application. We thank all applicants for their interest but advise that only those applicants who will be advancing to the next stage of the recruitment process will be further contacted up to 6 months from the date of your application. Please be aware the TTC’s primary means of communication will be through email. Applicants should therefore frequently check their email accounts (including junk mail in the case it might be filtered to this area). Thank you for your interest in the Toronto Transit Commission!". Did you receive an acknowledgement email stating that the application was recieved? If so, I believe they keep your resume on file, and you advised not to reapply for one year.

Is the Strada testing similar to the ttc testing? Also I finished all of my job shadowing this week, just working on the interview prep now.

Has anyone been contacted about an interview yet? In other news the job posting has been re-listed.

The wait begins, they said they'd get back to our group before December 31st otherwise reapply next year.
