Can confirm 4212 and 4222 are now smart bus equipped

Saw a 1999 D40LF (think it was 4146?) that was Smart Bus equipped. I found it interesting that they would bother installing this stuff seeing as "the ETS way" seems to be retiring buses after 18-20 years, and this bus is coming up on 17 years soon..

I can tell you that it was parked outside of Westmount on 111th Ave today obstructing traffic in the snowstorm around 1640 with its hazards on. Bet that wasn't the kind of info you were looking for

Noticed this week that Churchill Station's ad panels are getting removed as well...I believe that is a new development. In other news, the changes to the 130 that went in place this week certainly have made a difference (at least from my perspective as a passenger). In the two days I've taken it since the changes, it's been on time more frequently than it has been for the past 2 months. Talking to one a driver of one of the 130 runs and they mentioned that they were getting short turned almost every trip because the Metro LRT was holding them up for 15+ minutes. If you didn't know about the 130 changes, as of Sunday Nov. 8 it now no longer goes into Kingsway/RAH transit centre and up 106th St, and instead goes straight up 109th street and Princess Elizabeth Ave (similar to the 15).

Central Station's old advertising boards on the walls are getting replaced with digital signs and an ETS logo.

Tentatively will put my name down. December is too far out to say if anything is going on but I'll try and keep it free.

859. No license plate on the back. Other minor observations I've noticed in the past few weeks...the 203 now says U OF A instead of UNIVERSITY and I've seen buses driving around signed up with CAMPBELL and RIEL. I believe there were routes out to there before but I don't recall them actually having their own destination sign entries.

Out of the ordinary things I saw today: 4143 doing the Ookspress was signed up as City Hall/Express instead of the usual Downtown/Express 4599 has the southbound route 97 programmed in with a capital I, so the sign reads 97 MIll Woods T.C.
