Retirement has started most will be gone by next month since the mayor has contracted some routes out to a Private Contractor called LSF Limousines of South Florida and they will be using Cutaways to operate on some of these routes but here is the kicker maintenance work including fuel and supervisory work will be managed by MDT since the Mayor and the union and the MDT Director has it out for the Transit Workers Union 

Miami Dade Transit will be ordering 300 XN40 buses arriving later next year 

Someone said they were turning it into a parts warehouse and warranty center for local TA with Gillig buses 

70 Electric buses are expected to arrive in September most likely from Newflyer(Will Confirm at a Later Date)

 

Also the 2006 Optima Buses are retiring In favor of having all 40ft buses and above no more mini buses will be procured 

And the latest 40ft cng buses are using Voith again and they purchased CNG Attics from Newflyer

I hope they look into replacing the MCI buses with newer ones or at least give prevost a try

Miami Dade Transit also has a boatload of 1999 Diesel NABI buses expected to be phased out when the CNG Newflyer bus arrives 

Miami-Dade Transit is exploring the possibility of going back to Voith Transmission or look into ZF they are getting tired of Allison

Arriving Mid-March 5 diesel Gillig buses 10 more Hybrid Artics are due from Newflyer later this year and then we make the transition over to CNG

Nope the Karsan bus is no longer involved and no prototype isn't scheduled to arrive until 2018

17101-17105 will be Gilligs expected to arrive in March of 2017 will be Diesel buses with the Allison B400R

The 1998 NABI buses has been retired many years ago it is used as a Contingency/Training bus 

5006 is also gone that has been sold to a scrapper.

Historical bus 647 is being repaired. 

The 15101-15115 series Buses that were destined for Broward has the Allison B400R.

The 2017 Artics will have the same specs as the 2016 Artics. 

All of the Old Metromover cars has been retired and replaced with Bombardier Mover cars. 

Only 2 flixible buses are preserved by MDT the rest has been scrapped feel free to use the pictures to add on to the roster or if you need them and are sucribed to Facebook groups The Bus Lounge or South Florida Transit take them to use with credit towards John Gamble as always have a great night

Yes they will also be numbered 17501-17510
