Route 39 was a bus route operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Route Details
Route 39 was an express route that operated from northern Orleans (Trim & RR174) to Downtown. Service operated Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak). No boarding was allowed from Blair Station to Train Station in the AM. Some AM trips were extended to end at Lincoln Fields station.
History
June 22nd, 1997
- In the afternoon only, trips will be extended to Place d'Orléans Park & Ride.
September 3rd, 2000
- Extended east from Champlain along Jeanne d’Arc and the North Service Road to Trim in order to provide express service to downtown for new residents living east of Tenth Line and Jeanne d’Arc.
- Route also supplements route 38 along Jeanne d’Arc east of Champlain.
April 17th, 2011
- No AM boarding from Blair Station to Train Station is allowed.
September 4th, 2011
- Route is cancelled and replaced by Route 34 on Fortune, Route 37 on Bilberry and Route 38 on Trim, North Service Road and Jeanne d'Arc.
