Weekday and weekend service runs every 30 minutes, decreasing to every 1-2 hours during early morning and late evening periods. Weekday service runs from 5:30 AM to 1 AM and Weekend service runs from 5:45 AM to 1 AM.

Coming off of a route 2 from Madrona Park, northbound trips depart 3rd Avenue and Seneca Street north on 3rd Avenue, west on Denny Way, north on 1st Avenue N, west on Roy Street, north on Queen Anne Avenue N, west on W McGraw Street, north on 3rd Avenue W and east on W Nickerson Street to Seattle Pacific University.

Southbound trips depart Seattle Pacific University east on W Nickerson Street, west on W Cremona Street, south on 3rd Avenue W, east on Roy Street, south on Queen Anne Avenue N, east on John Street and east on 3rd Avenue to Spring Street where it continues as a route 2 to Madrona Park.

Select northbound and southbound trips do not interline with route 2, instead terminating in Downtown Seattle or continuing to / from Atlantic Base.
