Réseau de transport de la Capitale 1601-1636 are Nova Bus LFS HEV built in 2016 and delivered starting early 2017. They feature electric doors (like the articulated hybrids, unlike the 2015 hybrids) which have frameless windows themselves and feature a green button to open the door instead of a push bar. Otherwise these are effectively identical to the 2015 hybrids. These entered service on Jan. 14, 2017.
These have a different rear seating arrangement - instead of back to back seating in the rear, there is a pair of bench seats replacing the rear-facing seats while retaining the second-last row of forward-facing seats. There is no reduction in total number of seats.
Note that the total number of units are unknown; the published budget for 2016 calls for 36 standard hybrid buses and up to 1626 have been delivered.
