Halifax Transit route 60 'Eastern Passage' provides service from the Eastern Passage area of Dartmouth to the Bridge Terminal via Pleasant Street. The route also services the Woodside area, and the Woodside Ferry Terminal during rush hour. Eastern Passage is a large and continually growing suburb of Dartmouth, and as such the route 60 is usually quite crowded during rush hour. At present it is the only route that services Eastern Passage.
Alternate rush hour routing
In 2007 the route was altered so that during rush hour, every second run would service the Heritage Hills area, part of Eastern Passage. The route remains the same until Cow Bay Road, at which point it splits off onto Hornes Road and eventually Samuel Daniel Drive and Heritage Hills Drive.
Terminals and Major Stops
The route 60 services the following terminals and major stops:
- Woodside Ferry Terminal (rush hour only)
- Bridge Terminal
- Nova Scotia Community College, Waterfront Campus
