GoDurham provides transit service to the city of Durham, North Carolina. The City of Durham assumed the operation of the local Duke Power bus system in 1991. [1]

History

  • In October 2010, the City of Durham entered into an agreement with Triangle Transit to oversee the management of Durham’s fixed route and demand response services.
  • In March 2015, as part of a regional re-branding effort, Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) became GoDurham and Triangle Transit became GoTriangle.[2]

Routes

[3] Most routes depart/arrive at the downtown terminal, Durham Station (opened in July 2009), at the top of the hour and every half hour from 5:30 a.m. until 12:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday and holidays.
