The route was introduced in 2008 to reduce east-west congestion and to provide alternatives for the [[Coast Mountain Bus Company route 99 'Broadway Stn / UBC (B-line)'|99 B-Line]] [[Image:Wc15.JPG]].
This is an east-west route running in Vancouver connecting 29th Avenue Station in East Vancouver and the University of British Columbia running primarily on 16th Avenue and 33rd Avenue. Service runs daily every 15 minutes on weekdays<!---, increasing to every 10–15 minutes during peak hours--->. Service on weekends/holidays run every 30 minutes.  


The route begins on East 29th Avenue turning onto Slocan Street before continuing east on 33rd Avenue which becomes Midlothian Avenue. From Midlothian it heads north on Cambie Street, west onto West 16th Avenue all the way to Wesbrook Mall before entering UBC Loop.
Eastbound trips depart from the University of British Columbia heading south on Wesbrook Mall, east on W. 16th Avenue, south on Cambie Street, east on W. 29th Avenue becoming Midlothian Avenue becoming E. 33rd Avenue, north on Slocan Street, and east on E. 29th Avenue to 29th Avenue Station.
